I thought Ricketts said that we were the cheats? š I canāt wait for that pathetic prick to step out at the Mem in February.

Did Sercombe not get done for cheating, then?

Pierre was quite clearly shown attempting to headbutt Ed Upson. As for the rest a lot of handbags and Jaakkolas push on the claimant for the penalty when he was getting up off the ground was very tame.

Doesn't say what the fine is though. Guess it's financial.

This was definitely for the headbutt then. I pointed this out on Saturday but nobody else seemed to pick up on it!!! (except Bideford it would seem). Can't believe it was missed. He was lucky to stay on the pitch, let alone to not even get a yellow!!!!!

As it was a lot of pushing and shoving by both sets of players there is no way only one club would face the 'not controlling players' charge. I guess the fine will put a dent in our cup run winnings, unfortunately.

This whole 'failing to control their players' stuff is a bit silly right?
I bet no clubs got a fine for this when Pierluigi Collina was on duty....

The no.2 Pierre who was being held, suddenly leapt up from a crouched position and butted Upson who fell backwards from the melee.

It will be worth it, having witnessed Ed pick Pierre up by his shirt and walk him backwards across the penalty box. An aggression/edge to every single one of our players, we werenāt really seeing under Darrell. Long may it continue.

I did notice one of the Shrewsbury players kick the ball at Tony Craig which hit him in the back. I expected carnage of biblical proportions at that point but Big Tone seemed to deal with it well. Luckily one Craig-esque glare at the player sorted it.

IT would draw a line under the matter if Ricketts were to issue an apology and retract his accusation of cheating. Im sure that would satisfy the management, players and reasonable Rovers fans, and reduce toxicity at the home game. But I doubt very much that he will, which is a shame.

We basically flooded the midfield (something Ricketts didnāt expect) so Sercs had no one to pick up and ran the show at free will for the first hour. The Shrews gaffer is purely annoyed that he was totally outdone by GC in the tactics department.

Having watched the game can't see what he was on about.
