The guy produced wonders in his first managers job and plucked unknown names from obscurity into house hold names when given very little money!

Manager sequence says it should be DC GC JC Don’t see JC in list! He performs miracles? Also, we need to “Be Careful If We Follow The Masses because The M May Be Silent ..... or Mansfield”? UTG John Coleman it is then! Only one answer to this; Balls? Coleman balls? Most people used to hate his commentary on BBC in the 70s / 80s but I thought he was much better than Barry Davies or John Motson who always looked for an opportunity to spill the statistics he had rehearsed before the game. JC was down to earth and simple as in ..... 1-0! But you must be referring to Accy’s JC? Great manager who had the decency to congratulate DC in gaining promotion to L1 and pipping them at the last MINUTE! But I think he is a Chris Wilder; great manager who loves his football and wants to help his beloved club(s) do well so will only stay around Lancashire unless he is offered millions elsewhere? It could also result in Wham Bham Bang Thank you Goodbye? UTG

UTG If we appoint JC he won't be here long. I suspect he'll be gone by Easter. But we will have played 40 games by then and be in football heaven ie. promoted? UTG

Check it That's like saying Coughlan has run up a debt of however many millions because the club loses £3m a year now. It's nonsense and takes into account all kinds of factors that are not the remit of the manager. I admit to not having checked figures but cannot believe Holloway ran up a debt of that size when he sold Stewart, Hayles, Roberts, Cureton, Zamora and brought in around £5.5m for those players alone.

Brought in over £7 mil from player sales.

Bit of a left field suggestion here but Mick Harford. Did a fantastic job at Luton last year under similarly adverse conditions and from his interviews has always struck me as a decent bloke. Turned us down back in 2009-10. Wanted an astronomical salary.

The past is a good indicator, when trying to predict the future. Internal - somebody already on the pay roll.

I vote for Ben Garner, but he's not on the list!
