He says he’s in for another role, probably thinks if he applies for our role that will lose him the other job. Thing is I’ve no idea what that other role is, but he’s referenced it several times.

Dear Mr Holloway,
Please apply for your desired QPR, any position (again) as that's the team you publicly supported last season when we played you.
Now f off.
Love, GasHeads.

IMHO we should have more respect for our club than to wait around for a semi retired TV pundit to wait to be asked to be our Manager. We need someone who will crawl over broken glass to get the job. Someone who is a first time Manager who has fire in their belly and pride in their heart, for themselves and our club. Someone who is frightened to death what he will do for a living if he fails. Someone already with the club who understands what the Gas are all about and who can maintain the consistency and attitudes developed by GC and who can also maintain the developement of the Academy players.

Any player, coach, existing, past or future gets pretty much equal measure of like and dislike, its what makes forums I suppose.
But when it gets to someone saying F### off to a true gashead is beyond me. It makes me want to say to you F### off, as you don't represent the club I support with that repsonse. Sure you can have your dislike and opinion, but frankly that is out of order.

Ollie please just apply for the managers position as waiting for these toss pots to call you isn't getting you and us fans what we so desperately want! I cant bare to think what a missed opportunity it would be not to have you back as boss so please swallow your pride and officially offer your services to the club instead of hoping they will contact you. Having you back as boss would be the best Christmas present ever. UTg! No thanks.

I have watched Rovers for quite a long time, and for me Ollie was / and to this day is the best creative midfielder to play for Rovers, when he was manager he nearly got Rovers promoted out of the first division, he brought some super players to the club and we played on the front foot and the team was a pleasure to watch, he is also a Bristolian and gas through & through. The football under home-sick GC has been absolutely awful, that is probably why the gates have gone down by 3,000 per match since DC; Did Hargreaves get the sack from Torquay ?, IMO Ollie should be put in temporary charge until the end of the season. UTG They haven't though have they. Our last home league game under DC, we had 7356 attendance. Our last home league game under GC was 6797. (Both at same time of year) I don't think it is the football, it may have played a part but we are always competitive and I think if you are winning games, fans will come. The bigger contributing factors for me are our fans became disillusioned with our owners. We were riding on the crest of a wave when we went up from L2 to L1 with a manager that was maybe the most loved in our history, while in charge? The big turning point was the stadium falling through, I think that coupled with us stagnating were the biggest part of our decline, and then ultimately the beloved DC's decline. I think if GC had stayed, attendances were on the way up and fans were just starting to back him. I doubt if we were 4th in the division we'd only be getting 7356 if DC were still here, although I agree it's not just the football, what's happening, or rather what's not happening, behind the scenes is having an affect as well. On the whole Ollie thing, apparently Luton fans are desperate for him to go there, well so my mate told me. Should suit him, he can bleed orange again.

A true GasHead would actually watch us once in a while and pay for the privilege. I assume you do? I know I do. Anyone else can f off....they don't pay their way or support the club I love.

Ollie ,absolute legend, but please don't come back and risk the high regard most fans regard you in, perhaps you could mentor a Hargreaves or a Mansell but would you be prepared to keep in the background, knowing your enthusiasm I doubt if you could refrain from interfering, albeit with the best intentions, so best leave it at that and the memories eh!!
