Great insights from DF as gives a whole different perspective on Rovers that I suspect some Gasheads don’t hold. Obviously holds a lot of respect for the team and where we are at the moment - refreshingly to hear from a good manager of a good team

Was it just me or did the post-coughlan atmosphere seem a lot better than it has been?? It was almost as if a shroud was lifted yesterday. Incredible how much negativity had been listed, seemed a lot more positive yesterday. Weird when you consider our manager had been poached by a lower league squad when we’re sat in 4th in l1 |

If we can get Bennett out then that would free up the reported £4000 a week that he’s on, if that figure is true we could hopefully bring in 2 or 3 loans for that sort of money. No one's going to pay more than £1k for Bennett, GC and Dunne's wages will save, guess, £6K. Now if the club were to bring some one like McGeady in that would show real commitment and put a thousand on the gate £150K. I reckon that's about £12K a week to spend I can't honestly see any player putting 1,000 on the gate, winning games/playing attractive football is the only way to bring fans back, plus where's McGeady even going to fit into our 5-3-2 line up anyway. |
