I can see a Will Hoskins mark 2 if/when he leaves.

I’m not sure what the fuss is about. He’s a good League One striker and that’s it. I had a look at the goals to minutes ratio stats a couple of weeks ago and he was top of the league 1 charts. Second was Matty Taylor. Neither of them are in the top few top scorers list because Taylor has been sub a lot maybe injured too I don’t know ? and Jono has been injured a lot as we do know. Just goes to show it’s alright having top players but if they’re injured a lot then you don’t really get what you want or expect from them in the long term. JCH may well stay until the end of the season play 30 games and score 15 goals Where as a lesser skilled forward will play 40 and score 19 for someone else .

If we get market value then will still be gutted but will understand it, cant see us spending any of it, but raiding the Baggies and Eagles for loans.

Depending on who I spoke to today it's going to be Derby County for either £2 or £3 million. Must be true! I heard we'd turned down £2.5m offer from Middlesbrough. All I heard was a seven figure sum but same club

I heard we'd turned down £2.5m offer from Middlesbrough. I had it confirmed to me yesterday that we have received no bids just yet from any club for JCH. Personally I would be more worried about losing Jakkola or Kilgour right now. But...but, you’re not ITK 😉

You are quite right, that twitter account does work, that's how Garner got in touch with Wael and arranged to meet him in London. The other two on the selection panel did not fancy such an appointment. The trouble with Wael is he is gullible and lives in his own bubble. Garner has never managed any club in his life at any level and has not worked in the game since leaving India last May helping out Steve Coppell. He must have thought he had won the lottery the day he had a coffee in London with our leader. Read Starnes programme notes from Boxing day, it's clear he didn't have a clue about the appointment so soon.

JCH is very likely going to a Championship club sometime in the next month or so.
Some fans will be disappointed with the fee.
Other fans will think that Rovers got a deal.
ALL fans will be upset if the fee is "undisclosed".

If a championship club is going to shell out a few million for an attacker in January, they will want someone who will come in and make an instant impact. JCH hasn't had a bad season but for the last month and a half he's been plagued with injuries and hasn't been at his best.
I think this along with the fact he's played in the championship before and not had a good record will deter clubs from swooping in, scouts certainly won't be impressed by what they saw last Saturday that's for sure. Can't see us selling to someone like Sunderland or Portsmouth either with the position we are in the league.
Just a gut feeling but I think we'll keep him in January and he will end up with 15-20 goals and will be sold in the summer for a bit. Remember that Tom Eaves and John Marquis had a better goalscoring record this time last year and neither went in January.
