We should be more worried about someone coming in for Jaakkola Agree totally …. The one thing we have in our favour is that he is playing with us and on the back of that is getting international call ups just in time for the Euros. if he went to the Championship would he be on the bench and potentially jeopardising that ? Who Knows...

So you don't consider that Lambert's fitness improved the higher he moved up the football pyramid? If not then why are Liverpool etc spending £50m+ on state of the art training facilities? By lamberts own admission that’s because he started eating right and drinking less, he was still not taking it all that serious when he was here and first went to saints until Pardew pulled him in and made him take his top off and called him a disgrace. There’s of course no doubt we need better facilities but to blame Johnson’s (who was injured when we signed him and missed a season at Rotherham) solely on them is ridiculous. Suggest you read my posts as I'm not blaming his injuries on the training facilities, just that he's likely to get fitter if he's training at a multimillion training complex.

It really depends on the people who train him & give him his nutritional goals. Anyone who trains, seriously, will know much of it is in the food you eat and how it’s broken down into protein, complex carbs and so much more. You can achieve a massive amount with good advice and continual monitoring. Facilities won’t do much good if you don’t stick to the plans and goals. It’s a science in itself

Blaming the training facilities again 😂. His injury was picked up after a long run. But post like rumours are facts again lol. What rumours, it's a fact of life in football that l the higher you go the better the training facilities will be, anyway it seems the BP reporter agrees with my own views: "The one thing which could prevent JCH leaving in this window is his injury record. Obviously he has missed a lot of games this season, and I think some teams will see it as a big gamble paying big money for an injury prone player in January. I think they’d prefer to bring him in early doors in the summer and give him a full pre-season with their own medical team to support him." Incidentally where's the link to say JCH's calf injury was after a long run as the BP etc just said it was picked up in training? . They said at the time it was at the end of a long run. Thought you said clubs would want him now. The reporter is saying he does not think they will. So how is he saying the same as you??

There was no mention at the time it was a long run, he could have just been sprinting a few metres for all we know. 'Clarke-Harris pulled up during a run at the end of last week, with Rovers not playing on Saturday due to Bury's expulsion from the Football League."

'Clarke-Harris pulled up during a run at the end of last week, with Rovers not playing on Saturday due to Bury's expulsion from the Football League." It was said in an interview on YouTube. I don't have time to go through them all know lol. But one of the coaching staff, said he pulled up at the end of a long run. Think they said they only went on a long run, because we didn't have a game, because we were due to play Bury. Something along those lines was said though. Calf injuries are generally after long runs, or hill runs. Hamstrings are more likely to go when sprinting. Either way, there is no mention of the training pitch. Some league 2 clubs have better training facilities than the lawns, but some championship clubs have worse training facilities. We have a decent medical team now. So there is no guarantee that he will be fitter at another club. If our training pitch was that bad, how do Craig and others play so many games?? The pitches are not a bad standard at the lawns and are certainly not bad enough to be blamed for injuries. The main problem is that it is not ours and that it not going to be there for ever.

Where as Coughlan said he didn't pick it up when training with him. "Clarke-Harris has picked up an injury. Where he has picked it up, how he has picked it up, Jonno would probably be the best man to answer that - he can take the responsibility for those questions." That's what he said when moaning to the press about a leak. The whole thing was a bit of a mystery, with different people, giving different stories.

Absolutely delighted he's staying with us. Get him in the right headspace and match fit for these last four months and fire us back up the table, Jonno! He'll earn his move in the summer with our blessing.

He will certainly need to pull his socks up now if he wants a move to the championship in the summer Perhaps he's just content to pick up his wage with us, not every player is desperate for a move higher. He does seem to love the club as on any team photo he's usually bang in the middle.

Hopefully with some better players around him he won’t get so frustrated and start to look like he’s enjoying playing again.
