Can't say I've ever witnessed anything like it. Yeah.. but... Rovers fans were nudging those Villa fans who kept saying how sh** Rovers were and how much they love city, Bristol is red etc It’s pretty much the same thing i was actually stood by them and they were being cocks in fairness.

And presumably their resident, online police liaison officer is all over this? Though I expect this is less important to her than responding to internet tittle tattle and publishing personal information of Rovers fans. She is - it wasn't a football related argument. And while she's at it, she's decided to launch a full investigation into the announcer calling them Bristol Rovers and will publicly state the time she will be interviewing him and at which premises.

we’ve more than got our fair share of pricks like that though , let’s be honest. We've got fans who hit their own fans women and kids in the stands? Must of missed that game... I have first hand experience , where my daughter got hurt , so yeah you missed that one !

I have seen our fair share of stupid stuff through the years, but I don't remember seeing anyone above the age of 18 stand on a woman and attempt to kick her 10 year old son in the face. Like I said to another poster , my daughter got hurt by some stupid twat acting all big and tough. He ultimately regretted his actions as he got dealt with accordingly but believe me , these types of ‘fans’ do walk amongst us.

Someone on Twitter said that the bloke has Aspergers, which causes him to act violently at random times. However, if that is the case, why did his family not try to explain that to the stewards, once they had him in their grasp?

Sorry, I should have put that in my original post. Yes, he said that it was his family he was attacking. So, why did they not step in to explain that he has a condition that causes him to act like that?

Police said there were no arrests and all the people involved knew each other.

He was attacking his own family? Who said that? 卫士力 @totfinsol · 4h Replying to @casualmind_ We are all too quick to judge. I know this chap. Is name is Dan. He has Aspergers and becomes violent at random times. The people he was attacking we’re his family. Merry Christmas to those that judged wrongly. The ‘little brother’ as it were, certainly looks like he’s trying to calm the situation for his elder sibling who has a disability. Or not. The ‘parents’ standing back & looking on as the stewards grapple and scrap with the guy to try and gain some kind of control. This of course after the elder gentleman had him round the neck himself. Excuse anyone that thinks that claim is a load of rubbish.
