van Stappershoef 8 M.o.M some good saves, looks confident.

Menayese 7 a much improved performance.
Craig 7.5 defended well, a good headed goal,marshalled the defence well as usual.
Kilgour  6.5 a difficult game against a dangerous Coventry side

Rodman 7 some nice crosses, 
Upson 7.5 a good game, unlucky not to score.
Sercombe 7 what he did, he did well. just needs to do a bit more.
Leahy 6 Coventry targeted him and was chasing shadows for much of the game.

Nichols 4 very poor, he struggled to even get the basics right.
Clarke-Harris 6 good penalty, but not much went right for him.
Hargreaves 7.5 a hardworking  high energy game. A great prospect.

van Stappershoef 8. Excellent command of the area, pretty confident in the air and some really good reflex stops.

Menayese 6. A bit green but will develop over the season, he needs to keep listening learning. Distribution from the back must improve, he struggled with playing simple and effective passes forward.
Craig 8.5 MOM. The Cov fans I was standing with said he was boss and I agree. His reading of the game is excellent and makes up for lack of pace.
Kilgour 6. Turned inside out a couple of times and needs to be a bit more canny, but again he's developing

Rodman 7. Got around the pitch and tried to make things happen, decent delivery too.
Upson 6. Got stuck in but I didn't see much quality really. Cov passed through our midfield diagonally far too often and left our defenders on the back foot
Sercombe 6.5 Didn't quite come off for him today but put in a shift. Would prefer him further forward.
Leahy 5. Got dominated but kept trying.

Nichols 2.5. Peripheral at best. I don't know why so many managers persist with him. Offers nothing, is like playing with 10 men.
Clarke-Harris 6.5 Mainly jogged, felt like he was holding back at times and looked like he was giving it the 'I is the big man' routine but...still fairly effective until about 75 mins when he faded. There's an attitude there that I don't care for.
Hargreaves 7. Lots of energy, played like he wanted to win and gave it a good go. Made errors and over-committed too early on occasion, but he's learning his trade but has genuine potential if he keeps on like this

Subs: Bennett 3.5. Lightweight and offered little threat.
Holmes-Dennis 5. Rusty.
Adeboyejo NOLE

Crowd 4. Very quiet at both ends for long periods.
Ref 6 missed a few things but generally ran the game effectively.
Coventry 8. Played well and should have won, but their lack of guile and trying to pass it around in their own box cost them. They are a couple of decent players and a bit of common sense away from a promotion team.
