I wonder if BG will give Gavin a try on Wednesday night ? Depends if that counts as a 2nd club he has played for this season, I would imagine? Think it does, unless they have changed the rules. Even if a player plays for an under 23 side in this, it use to count. Can't remember the player or side, but a manager was moaning that a player player for the under 23s and they could not loan him or after. They didn't think it would count.

Bit underhand of the club to sign players not recommended on this forum, don't know what the worlds coming to, did it not occur to BG and TW to consult the ITK ers on here before diving in and making these kind of decisions? honestly! welcome to Rovers young fellow and good luck! Hope it does not impact on our own youngsters getting there chance eg Tomlinson,up the Rovers!

The worst player EVER? Not sure about that! But certainly when you consider the price he has been a flop. I’d personally say Bennett has been a bigger waste of budget and to see him coming on yesterday highlights our lack of attacking options.
Hopefully Swindon will want him back for their promotion push and Cock Land up in Mansfield will want golden balls Nicco for his relegation battle ahead.

Not sure if you’re a fan or not? Personally I thought his performance yesterday was as poor as I’ve seen from him, and I’ve seen a few poor ones! He was like a little boy and the defenders just pushed him aside every time. He has to go in my opinion, id loan him out over Reilly, although I don’t think either will be here next season. I don’t EVER boo or abuse anyone in the quarters and never will, but his time is surely up. I don’t think we will see much more of him. I'm not a fan. He's completely totally useless. He doesn't chase anything, he can't head a ball, can't control a ball, can't lay off a ball, can't score, he's got to be the biggest pile of crap we've ever had. And if rumours are to believed, £3k a week? Get rid, asap. Who JCT ? agree 100%

And if rumours are to believed, £3k a week? Get rid, asap. That is not strictly true, he doesn't score anywhere near enough for a striker but I have seen him do all of those things. He was terrible yesterday though, that I will give you. You've seen him run full pace to chase down the back four, the keeper, head a ball on, control it when it comes to him, lay a pass off, score? You must be at different 3 seasons worth of complete and utter sh1t from him than me. The bloke is a joke of a player.

Luca Hoole is a right back. I can see him playing on Wednesday night. We have youth player's for every position. I was talking about player's ready for the first team now. More for league games etc. That's why I said why I think he may play Wednesday. Its a cup game, Hare is out for the season, Little is made of glass and some of first team players are really in need of a rest.

I know it didn't take a lot but Bennett in the deep No 10 role was a damn sight better than Nichols, who probably had his worse ever game at the Mem. Although perhaps that was the role he was asked to play.

When Bennett came on he was more effective and we were better going forward for that part of the match. UTG!

Looking at their forum can play on both wings and can terrorise defenders with his dribbling but they say not much end product. Imagine we will go 433 or 442 with him supplying the crosses for JCH ond Bogle 😂 Welcome Jayden UTG

Is Hare out for the season? Back in full training I believe Josh Hare is unlikely to return to action until spring after suffering an ACL injury against Gillingham early in the season. Source: Bristol Post. Sam Matthews is back in full training though.

Arsenal's Calum Chambers is out for upto 9 months with an ACL injury, on that basis I'd be surprised to see Hare again this season. We really need to plan this window on the basis he won't be back/Little will miss at least half the fixtures, unless we make the Play Offs the season will be virtually over even if he does return by mid April.

No Nichols then? He's bound to be part of our progression surely? Not sure if you’re a fan or not? Yeah, I know what you mean and I was willing him on for a good performance but it just wasn't there yesterday. He seemed half-hearted in everything he did, and on that showing has very little acceleration or pace. I was comparing his performance with that of young Hargreaves. There is loads of potential there and he needs to muscle-up, but he showed effort, pace, and a willingness to take players on and tackle. When he was fouled for our pen I thought it must have been Nicholls, but of course when I looked for him he was wandering around outside the area, not really involved. I have to wonder if Ricky Gervais has taken him to one side and advised him to look for another club. I'm afraid that, for whatever reason, he just hasn't done it for us. His record is truly abysmal.
