Good to see the club trying out this new initiative for getting to and from games, brings back memories of football specials !but will the prices put a lot of people off and make it unviable for fans , very convenient though and well done Rovers for trying!

Obscenely expensive! From some places it would be just as quick to walk too. I can't see it catching on.

Obscenely expensive! From some places it would be just as quick to walk too. I can't see it catching on. I can see the appeal for older people and with kids perhaps? Not always easy taking/going with either when you might have to swap buses even once. I'm lucky to live near the 17 bus route ATM, so getting to the Mem hasn't been a proper so far, but I hope it succeeds all the same. I welcome the initiative the club starting another service venture, I wonder what the cut is for us? I'd of thought a multi-stopping coach might be better served for away games (unless that's the norm?) That would certainly appeal to me more if I were able to hop on near mine and get to an away game.

Club has excelled themselves with this announcement, the majority of the place names and collection points are misspelt. Well done commercial department

Can’t see any coaches leaving from Shrewsbury for home games so I won’t be using them

Price will be the problem and the prices quoted are discounted and will increase. The booking fee is on top. Great idea but most will be priced out of this one. Should at least offered a discount to season ticket holders.

Ridiculously expensive and doomed to fail because of it.
Nice to see the old booking fees creep in even for this service.
****"That'll be £10 please."
"There you are. My £10."
***"And £1.50 booking fee too, please.'
"I have to pay a fee for the ticket?"
***"Yes, 1.50 please."
"But I just paid you a fee for the ticket. £10."
***"But this is a booking fee."
"So it's not a sneaky way to extract more cash then?"
***"No, no. It's a booking fee."

Anyone know if this was a success? Or will the next home game have transport in the form of the 4 seated bike like on the Goodies to meet demand?
The worry is that someone is likely to be making money from it (commission on sales), but it will not be the club, so it will probably continue while it makes the club a loss.

It was a good idea spoiled by a few things.
The launch was so low key no one would have noticed it. This avoiding the possibility of lots of paying customers signing up.
The prices indicated were ridiculously expensive. And were based presumably on a random finger in the air, since they had zero idea how many fans might sign up.
The misspelt names were typical of the ramshackle cottage industry of half hearted well-meaning but shittily implemented initiatives that we are well known for.
I contributed a few ideas for shipping in once enthusiastic but now reluctant gasheads from Wiltshire, a potentially large pool of fans. No reply or thanks, sadly.

In fairness, calling it "The Conehead Sunshine Bus" probably wasn't one of your better ideas.
