Wtf? Is the whole nation obsessed by the discus, suddenly. No one f**king watches the discus. Maybe not, but they know it's in decathlon! Discuss.

Wow - Just woken up to the news that I have won one of the Gas Chat quizzes - over the moon Brian!!!!
I left early yesterday evening as I was going out to watch the local Discus Championships - it was "behind closed doors" obviously, but the thrill of the Discus drew a massive crowd anyway, all trying to get a glimpse over the wall.
I didn't see AF there which surprised me a bit.

Morning all! As Jock is clearly up for today, I'd better get cracking with today's pointless questions for anyone wishing to play.
Every day is a new day, so anyone can play. Just PM your answers to me by 5pm and results will be up shortly after.
The 4th question today is a slightly different format as a trial - pick the most obscure single answer you can think of from the clues given.
Here we go...
1. The name of anyone who has served as UK Prime Minister at any time during the reigns of either Queen Victoria or Queen Elizabeth II up to the start of 2015.
2. Any word that has its own entry in the Oxford Dictionary of English that ends in 'RAGE'. Hyphenated words, trademarks, abbreviations or proper nouns not accepted. The word 'rage' alone also not accepted
3. Any full-length feature film made for cinema release for which Steven Spielberg was credited as 'director', according to IMDb, that had its first release from the the beginning of 1990 to the end of 2012.
4. Here are twelve clues to facts about football managers and coaches. Just name which one you think is the most obscure answer out of the twelve. Edit: I need the correct answer as well as the letter! a) Coach of France when they won the FIFA World Cup in 1998 b) Ex-Newcastle manager, his on-air rant included the outburst "I will love it if we beat them. LOVE IT!" c) Former England manager, bought a 51% controlling interest in Portsmough FC for £1 in 1997 d) Frenchman who took over at Arsenal in 1996 e) Italian who was appointed England manager in 2007 f) Managed England to World Cup glory in 1966 g) Managed Leeds United for just 44 days in 1974 h) Manager of Aston Villa when they won the European Cup in 1982 i) Sacked as Celtic Head Coach in February 2000 after just 8 months in charge j) Spaniard appointed Bayern Munich manager in 2013 k) Took over from Bill Shankly as Liverpool manager l) Won a World Cup as a player in 1974 and as a coach for West Germany in 1990
Good luck folks!

There's two quotes from John Carpenter's The Thing that spring to mind that apply here... "You gotta be f ing kidding?" Or. "Is that a man in there? .....or something?"

Early left over lasagne lunch.... Now, I've been thinking (worrying I know) but I made a lasagne that could serve 4 when there's just the 2 of us just because its more practical that way (hence today's lunch) and in total I would say it cost about 4 quid to make, so £1 per portion.... Now why am I on this line of though? Now, some facts about lasagne: You'd think lasagne needed some skill to make.... It doesn't You'd think lasagne was expensive to make.... It isn't So is this the reason why the last 3 times we've done Ffsc hospitality we've had lasagne?
