OK, Clare hates it when I make hot curry like madras or vindaloo.... And I ain't to keen on the soft sh1t like korma.... So straight down the middle for the British pallet.... Gregsy's chicken tikka masala part 1.... This will either be an education, or it will put you off cooking for life.... Chicken thighs obviously, because we all know breasts are expensive and overrated (chicken ones I mean).... 900g of preped thigh for £2.60 in aldi isn't to be sniffed at, unless you're Mr tiggy who seems to be pretty curious about this operation.... Quality works Greg’s. I did miss this thread during my sabbatical. What did you use to form your base? The first step of every curry. I can see your tomatoes, what else did you use? Not trying to catch you out I actually want tips! 😂 Interestingly I heard an Indian chef on the radio criticising British people for using the word curry as it had become a generalisation for all Indian food. EDIT: Sorry just spotted your cream! Good choice! Bolders uses ‘special’ cream in his.

The word curry is commonly used in India apparentltly, but it seems trendy these days to say that it isn't.... My Sister (who is a gashead) has spent half of her adult life in India, and has spent time in some pretty far out places like Myanmar, Afghanistan, Tibet, etc.... Recons you cook with basics if you want to be authentic.... And thats a curry.....

Gregsy's chicken tikka masala part 2.... Well that took a while. Still looks and smells pretty good, and the cat *** off pretty quickly when I got the curry spices out.... Just needs to cool on the hob, then let the flavours mellow in the fridge for a few hours.... Shame I can't be a romantic tonight and surprise Clare with this, I'm even gonna get the balti dishes out and everything.... but I'm fully aware that she'll be reading this thread whilst sat on the bus on the way home from work.... That looks like my toilet every Sunday Morning. I’m relieved that you only Rubbish in a saucepan once a week Marshy.

Another give away is the hard wood floors , very on trend with serial killers. That and a chest freezer full of body parts in ziplock bags.

Call me picky BUT that egg needed another 15 seconds, and the crumpets aren't hot enough to melt the butter so that it runs down your chin when you take a bite.
