Like I never held out to hear from the Dunfords at Twerton, no. Difference is we always knew the Dunford's were competent and absolutely put the club's interests above all else |

Not worried about the FA Cup but people scoffed on Saturday night when I posted we are in a relegation scrap ... I’m really concerned now how ‘soft’ and weak we have become ... we look absolutely awful yet again! There are quite a few of us that have felt the same way about relegation. Where are we going to get 14 or 15 points to stay up when we can't get any attempts on target, and are conceding 2 or 3 a game now? There are quite a few of us that have felt the same way about relegation. Where are we going to get 14 or 15 points to stay up when we can't get any attempts on target, and are conceding 2 or 3 a game now? I'm really worried We won't need 51 points to stay up in 44 game league season. 46 or 47 will be enough, maybe less. Hope so, but I'm still not sure we're capable of getting the 10 or 11 points needed in your scenario |

Its clear were not that far off- but small changes make a huge difference when the league is quite compact.
Need Abs back. Need a striker. And to play a more mobile RB.

Just to add this is the same motley crew that were earning plaudits a few weeks back and over the summer. Lots of back slapping for Widdrington for the quality of recruitment. Now they all need to be shipped out and Widdrington given more money to try harder.
You can’t make it up sometimes...

Meanwhile in League 1 tonight Burton 1 MK 0 Lincoln 2 Bolton 1 Oxford 0 Ipswich 0 after ~ 70 mins for the top two games The first two are good for us ( as we're looking down and not up any more)Sad but true....I actually am wondering where the next shot on target is coming from let alone the next point. |

19 days ago we were 2nd in the league at HT, how the fu@k has it gone so depressingly wrong!!?? It can still be turned around of course, but to date this really must be one of the worst starts for a new manager in gas history. Nobody seems to have won from this, it's not like GC is setting the world on fire at Mansfield either. |

Perhaps they just have no respect/confidence in the new manager? Probably no clue how he wants them to play, not helped by the fact he's not on the training ground. |

Having just seen Cov's second it's pretty decent to be fair. Feels like we're at a point where absolutely nothing will go right and teams will keep putting 2 or 3 past us.

I’m genuinely lost for words , really don’t know how things have gotten this bad , I hated GC and his football straight out of the 1970’s handbook and I’m also hating whatever is being dished up now. Really hate supporting the gas at times !!! It also proves that I literally know NOTHING about football !!!!
