If Garner's no longer taking part in training sessions why the hell are we still usually his stupid line up and not reverting back to GC's succesful set up? FFS Coventry have 5 new front players and they are still tearing us apart at the back. Meanwhile we sign 3 attacking players, you really couldn't make it up. Because he is still the manager? Thought he was indefinate leave, I can't see how anybody can manage a football club form 100 miles away, particularly when he's hardly taken any training lessons. |

Sorry but that's sh!t defending, we're really facing a relegation battle if the club doesn't wake up and do something soon on the management/playing side, signing kids isn't going to keep us up. Our Defensive coach has gone to Mansfield |

The shape-
You can see how it's happened. At the start of the season weve been awarded for backs against the wall displays. You gradually get deeper and deeper. Then all of a sudden you deal with it- you can hear the last two post match interviews with players talking about not pressing enough. Then you take the press too far. And that includes our screen (Upson)... He's the one that shouldn't. And if he does the defence must step up.
This is what happens eventually to teams that win games they shouldn't. Add in the midfield injuries and here we are.
Same thing happened with Trolls. In League 2 we had a great defence, an decent midfield and crazy strike force. We could defend and catch teams on the break. Got to league one and we would defend and defend and defend then Lambo would smash it in. And you're rewarded. The midfield issue was never dealt with and then you sell your striker and you stop "nicking them" you just end being a deep lying team. Then you end up with Dominic Blizzard.
Desperately miss ogogo.

Alfie looking slow and tired. Alfie is 21, Rollin 22 - both playing their first 'first team' season - neither can be expected to keep the level of performance with the schedule as it has been recently. We need cover for them, and help in front of them |
