Hasn't made an impact, not getting much game time. Makes sense.

Didn’t think he was that good tbh. Scored a few goals though. Rather have him than Adeboyajo

Thought he’s been our second best forward this season. Much better than victor who I think looks non league.

Not good enough for L1 yet & it frees up some wages.
Hopefully we get a striker in ASAP, one thats actually good enough for the first team rather than the 3 back up strikers we have.
JCH is a much much better player when he has someone next to him

I liked him as well, ball at feet and facing defenders, something only JCH can do as well at mo.

JCH is a much much better player when he has someone next to him Easier said than done, for all the good Widdrington has done around the rest of the team his only success in the striking department has been JCH. Reilly, Smith and Adeboyejo all in under his watch. Finding good strikers, especially youths on loan, is probably the hardest task in recruiting.

Reilly was a DC signing. TW didn’t want him.

It's always easier said than done, but ultimately they need to get on it as they're paid to do so. I'm not demanding a striker who will score 20 goals, but just a striker of L1 standard would be nice. Also, going by Coughlan's comments in the past - JCH was his signing, rather than TW's? Either way, doesn't matter.

Gone to Rochdale until the end of the season Suggests that either Sheffield United or the player not happy to stay at Gas...not a huge loss but more so if Nicholls moves as well. Turmoil at club will not help recruitment as what's happening to the club will be common knowledge to other clubs and players' agents.

On Rovers official twitter. Edit: Joined Rochdale on loan till end of season Curious if we terminated his loan (perhaps, in part, because of his self inflicted injury) or whether Sheffield Utd recalled him to loan to Rochdale? Otherwise it all happened very quickly... I did rate him actually. Thought he added some pace to our front line and his goal record wasn't as bad as some other forwards in the squad... I guess we will roll the dice and get another young, unproven striker on loan and cross our fingers that we get a L1 goalscorer..!

Good point, imagine being a player whose club sent him here now- they’ll think their parent club doesn’t give a sh** about their development sending them to a team who doesn’t even know who the manager is or what style of football they are supposed to be playing (well, apart from losing being the main aim). Damn it’s grim.

Not sure what to make of this tbh. Was probably our 2nd best striker at the club, saying that if we want to get more recruits in we have to make room on the wage bill. Good luck Tyler, just not against us later in the season.

Could just be a geographic decision.
