We support a club that someone else owns. Therefore we don't have any control. Can we understand that please? if that's the attitude then I don't know why we Dam bother - I'll just pay my money to a community club that gives a toss about their fans - bath city

I've started a dirty protest H block styleeeeee. Problem is, I've been banned from First Bus in Bristol, looking for a lift to home games.

I propose some sort of group where fans can pay a little money and maybe elect one person to represent them to the owners in an open and honest way. That person could then communicate back to those fans. A sort of club for supporters, if you will. What do others think? You owe me a new monitor. Mine blew when you made me spit my coffee laughing reading this. With great power comes great responsibility.

As another poster on another thread has stated, sack the board & then what? give it to the fans to run the club Are you joking? Have you seen the moronic bollocks that gets posted on here and Facebook? There wouldn't be a club left to run before the season ended. Someone yesterday was suggesting a 25 year lease would be acceptable so long as it meant we moved to a new stadium. We wouldn't have any players left (except our "most naturally gifted player", Tom Nichols) because everyone would be queueing up to "drive them there myself" to any club that enquired. Just look at the Ollie Clarke thread. We wouldn't sign any new players; just look at how every single signing we make is absolutely trashed on here before they ever kick a ball in a blue and white quartered shirt. And we'd spunk endless money on surplus stock of every single thing because apparently no one can understand the concept of a limited edition shirt. The main thing keeping this club going at the moment is the fact our drongo supporters don't own it.

1: New stadium Stadium must be close to our houses. Near the motorway. Good bus service. In Kingswood and Eastville. Out of town. In town. 12,000 seats for intimate atmosphere, expandable to 30,000 for big games. With removable flowerbeds. 2: Communication Must say what we want to hear. Every day. 3: Playing budget Must sign all the best players on a top 3 budget without going into debt. No mistakes. 4: Ownership Fans must own the club and have a say on everything, while taking no financial risks. No money up front, but benefit from cheap sausage rolls. 5: Board We're gonna need a bigger boardroom. signed AF 6. Babestation back. 7.No signing players who with the benefit of hindsight dont work out.

Still as rag bag and unprofessional as ever. I would suggest refusing to give a job to a wannabe scout whose only experience is watching YouTube and posting on a forum is pretty un-ragbag. Let's not forget you have your own personal issue with these owners.

You don’t have to back them either. Screaming from the rooftops for the board to leave, with no actual fit & proper successors lined up to step in, is total lunacy. Lunacy is going and following them and buying their products you had best find another side to follow, because what board has given us a ground or championship side previously ? We as supporters of our club can only follow and support, unless we have the money to invest. I’ve been supporting since 1979. I can’t remember a time it’s been any different, can you?

I’m not after a Championship side, would love to be able to use the toilet without being covered in Urine, take the kids in comfort without getting soaking wet. Perhaps you like taking your kids to a toilet to get covered in urine? Wael rose a crest of a wave on the back of Darrell Clarke while overspending, he has put the club on the brink of no return.

Until someone has, I’ll still support my team.

Rovers have never had a decent ground. I've supported them from the early 60s at Eastville. The really disappointing thing for me is that in the intervening 60 years so many clubs have overtaken us in terms of facilities.
Indeed there are some clubs in the Conference with better stadia.
I don't expect the earth but I do expect some progress in 60 years. On the positive side, the Mem is better than my distant memories of Eastville. Others may differ.
