I hope he turns it around, however he just strikes me as uninspiring and someone I would easily switch off from.
Seems like a bit of a tos**r if im being honest.
Only rovers would be 4th in the league with the best team spirit I have ever seen.
Then appoint a man with no experience to see through our best chance of the play offs in league 1 in over a decade.
Has anyone ever seen such a fall from grace this side of the millennium?
Whats even more worrying is we looked more a goal threat under coughlans 'negative' football than we do under ben garners 'free flowing' football.
has anyone seen any free flowing football yet?

Edited so you could just say what ya wanted without trying to sound like a dick. You do, btw. Only rovers would be 4th in the league with the best team spirit I have ever seen. Then appoint a man with no experience to see through our best chance of the play offs in league 1 in over a decade. New to Rovers? Would probably say our team spirit was at it's peak during our rise from NL to our first season League 1 finish. Also think our best change at play offs was that first season back. Doing well, sell Matty. Can't hit the net for the remainder of the season. Teams like Sheff Utd and Bolton eventual promotion teams were giving us big praise - Bolton fans called us Bareclona! and now Bolton who are about to join League 2 are taking the water out of us for both our efforts this year. Whats even more worrying is we looked more a goal threat under coughlans 'negative' football than we do under ben garners 'free flowing' football. has anyone seen any free flowing football yet? GC's negative football was literally just JCH in the form of his life. Would have been dire if we had the current/recent JCH.

Why does he seem like a "tosser"? What constitutes a tosser in your world.. or are you just unable to articulate yourself like an adult and find yourself forced to dish out insults like a kid in a playground? Getting really bored of all this crying that "we were 4th" at some point in the season; as if that gives us some entitlement to finish in the playoffs or something. Were we even halfway through the season? Do you get awards for being top 6 at Christmas? Did GC actually win us anything? He managed to steady the sinking ship and save us from relegation last season, but whatever credit he earned from that feat (and the good start we had this season) was totally lost when he aborted the project and dropped down the leagues to be a bit closer to home... We have a new, young, highly thought of (yet inexperienced) manager who wants to play attractive football and win football matches. He inherited a small squad with injuries in key areas and was faced with a challenging set of fixtures over a short space of time. Coupled with the personal issues he unfortunately faced very early into his tenure I would love to see a bit of patience from our fan base (who are allegedly "supporters" but not sure who they are supporting when they are calling our very own manager a "tosser" with no justification). He's had a transfer window now in which it looks like our owners have backed him and he will get a bit of time now to hopefully get his team playing his way - why can't we all just enjoy the ride now.. a few more points and we might well be officially safe from relegation and the season is likely to be a free hit now - so just sit back and be entertained!

We are in a HUGE CRISES, anyone who cannot see this needs to remove BG verbal diarrhea from their eyes.
We are in freefall, not creating chances, leaky at the back, players are bickering... we are in a huge mess.
BG is a great salesmen ill give him that.

So you’re not Si Pirate but Sip Irate?? Well you’ve “tossed” your toys out the pram several times in this thread. Makes me think you’re not impressed with BG or something!! We appear to have invested quite a lot into his brave new world so I imagine you’ll be in this mood for several more months I’m afraid.

We'll never know of course.. but if GC was still in charge now would we still be in the playoffs and "every" cup? ( PS. we were already knocked out of the EFL Cup by Brighton under, yes you guessed it, GC). It's pretty irrelevant anyway. GC wanted to leave and GC left. He is gone. Forget about him. Take down the GC shrine from your bedroom (it was starting to smell a bit... musty... anyway) and move on with your life. Or don't.. whatever.

Yeah sorry, I am a bit angry today on reflection of everything that's happening. Honest question, if ben garner wins less than 3 games before the end of the season, he HAS to be gone right? If by April we still haven't won, look out for me in the poplar seating with a banner reading 'GARNER OUT' thats a promise

He is going nowhere, this is obviously a total change & I do think many will not renew ST purchases.

You sound like the very entitled type to be fair, on a forum using perfect grammar and probably getting off on the fact you use full grammar haha.. Your replies have little factual value and are very wish wash, FACT IS BG has not won a game, has not looked like winning a game and probably wont win a game for bristol rovers. There has been ZERO signs we are capable of picking up a win.
