This is another useful and constructive thread? Oh dear, this place has really gone to the dogs lately. 😱 WHY on earth would there be constructive and useful threads with our current situation? People in general are 10x more likely to air negative reviews than positive ones. If your searching for utopia i recommend the Caribbean

Well if there is anything more tedious than Coughlanball it is reading this entitled nonsense. We'll never know of course.. but if GC was still in charge now would we still be in the playoffs and "every" cup? ( PS. we were already knocked out of the EFL Cup by Brighton under, yes you guessed it, GC). It's pretty irrelevant anyway. GC wanted to leave and GC left. He is gone. Forget about him. Take down the GC shrine from your bedroom (it was starting to smell a bit... musty... anyway) and move on with your life. Or don't.. whatever. You sound like the very entitled type to be fair, on a forum using perfect grammar and probably getting off on the fact you use full grammar haha.. Your replies have little factual value and are very wish wash, FACT IS BG has not won a game, has not looked like winning a game and probably wont win a game for bristol rovers. There has been ZERO signs we are capable of picking up a win. Sorry let me break this down for you, as you appear to be hard of thinking.. I used "entitled" in this context to suggest that you believe in some way that you, as a fan, are inherently deserving of your team to finish in the play-offs (because we were 4th at some point? won a few games we didn't expect to?) Not sure how there is an implication that I am an "entitled type" for using "perfect grammar". Bizarre take... Also your shout of "ZERO" signs we are capable of picking up a win is sheer hyperbole.. if JCH had scored that penalty vs Fleetwood then we would likely have taken the points. Also we were dominant for most of the game vs Bolton away (got beaten at home by Bolton under GC - in case that had slipped your memory?) Fine margins going against us at the minute - but the tide will turn.

Yes as a fan under GC i was growing increasingly entitled and i loved every minute going into every game knowing we are extremely difficult to beat and the players will give every ounce of sweat to get a result. forgive me for thinking such a way when our manager over the course of the year had a FANTASTIC record. Just type how you feel, can imagine you being the type to proof read your messages on a forum haha.. We do not have a chance in hell of finishing anywhere near the top half this season. If garner goes 4 more games without a win that will be 15 games without a win for him. HE HAS TO GO THEN and we need to get a proper manager in so we can focus on next season then.

I hope he turns it around, however he just strikes me as uninspiring and someone I would easily switch off from. Seems like a bit of a tos**r if im being honest. Only rovers would be 4th in the league with the best team spirit I have ever seen. Then appoint a man with no experience to see through our best chance of the play offs in league 1 in over a decade. Has anyone ever seen such a fall from grace this side of the millennium? Whats even more worrying is we looked more a goal threat under coughlans 'negative' football than we do under ben garners 'free flowing' football. has anyone seen any free flowing football yet? Fair enough but you must be very young. Sides in 2007, 1989/90, throughout the 70s all had very good team spirits and better than that this season. But not sure calling him what you do makes the point you’re trying to make. UTG!

Really not finding many things to be supportive about though. I am paying £20 quid each week to be watered off, I can order a kebab for £2.99 from stapleton road if i want to be watered off and will cost me far less.

Since december 14th give me ONE reason with an ounce of factual evidence to be happy about? I don’t think you understand what being constructive is. It isn’t about being happy, it’s about being useful, giving the reader an idea that they possibly hadn’t thought about before. For example I could say that a reason for our shortcomings is Garner’s mismanagement of his second half substitutions, sometimes making substitutes far too late or bringing the wrong substitutes on, this perhaps being a factor in why our second half performances have been sub par. There I’ve been critical of Garner but have expanded on what I think he’s done wrong and maybe given him some suggestion on what he can do to turn things around. No offence, we are all guilty of it at times, but your OP just reads as a reactionary rant which is quite unhelpful under the circumstances.

Since december 14th give me ONE reason with an ounce of factual evidence to be happy about? Personally I thought that the transfer window seemed quite positive. I hope given time BG will be able to get the players (new and old) playing his way and then let's see how we are doing then.
