Judge BG at 9.45pm on Tuesday night after the Tranmere game, 7 new faces to choose from, two away games on the bounce, if we get the results then good, if not, what then. If not then we move onto the Blackpool match. Train hard, get better and aim to win. I’ve got my ticket and am looking forward to it. It’s not really rocket science, is it? I understand your frustration and your implication but having just been allowed to bring 7 new players in he has an obvious plan which may take some time. Fortunately this season we should be safe so lots of experience to be gained before the end of the season. UTG! Now look Wareham, that's being a bit sensible, can't be doing with that on this forum!

thats actually total bollocks. its been mentioned on here before that players themselves have said they couldnt stand coughlan. Oh what Andy from southmead said that the players don't like coughlan haha.. The way they embraced him and worked there socks off for him would suggest something completely different I have heard from within the club that he was a bully and that's why the players worked hard for him, project fear will only work for a matter of time then the players will lose interest.
I would suggest that BG is a more "likeable" man than GC, just my opinion not one of a frustrated angry man

He let me get away with murder and he was a bit of a soft touch. The new manager is onto me, doesnt let me get away with anything.. and since then although I am not as lazy and happy my work has MUCH improved. Obv course roles reversed as BG is our new manager however this is very relevant and apparent.

All about opinions though

This is obviously a wind up post or a complete f u c k w i t or both I’m gobsmacked the efl hasn’t given a trophy for being 4th for a couple of weeks because it seems to be worth one according the brain dead retards on here! The only thing you can question is me calling him a toss**r which is subjective and just the impression I have got from listening to him. The rest is just facts, he either turns it around or he starts getting his head called for. I give him 4 more games to win a game. If he has not won once in his first 15 games he is TOAST! I think you should step back from the keyboard...........anyone else smell sh1t?

All about opinions though Horses for courses I guess, however watching the players body language under GC and under BG would to me suggest GC had a much happier work force, I would find it hard if you disagreed?

I think it is perfectly reasonable to think about sacking someone if they go 15 games without a win after taking on a promotion candidate team who were firing on all cylinders.

If running round like a headless chicken and hoofing the ball 50-60 yards every time it is near you makes you a happier workforce then I would be inclined to agree, however I have been involved in many high performing teams (in the workplace) and it isn't like that in the real world.
As I said you are entitled to your opinions, although somewhat destructive in my opinion. Lets leave it there shall we?

In normal circumstances I would find it hard to argue that. But.....It's not normal circumstances. Ben Garner was absent for personal reasons and rightly so for the best part of a month. He also hasn't had much time with any of his new players let alone the players that were already here. I was probably one of the loudest ones shouting that I thought he was out of his depth, but he does need more time to blood his new players in with our current lot and put his stamp and philosophy across.

But we were high performing under GC, very high performing.. teams hated playing us, now they lick there lips... Also we were scoring and creating a lot more under GC, i think in the eleven games under BG we have had single digit shots on target from open play hahaha... out of interest, how long will this winless run go before you start to question his suitability?

Yeah i get your point really, im not angry at BG its nothing personal.. if i was him i would of snapped the baords hands off too.. bet he couldnt believe he got such a big long contract. But for the board to get in a coach who plans to change the philosophy from a winning philosophy to an untested philosophy mid way through the season is criminal! We should have appointed a manager with a similar one to GC, which was work damn hard, press from the front and bully the opposition. We are just a soft touch now, easy to play against, very predictable and create zero chances

Not sure if you’ve heard but he’s been off a while with personal problems and comes back to this dribble..” we were 4th” “ where’s the passing football then” The club doesn’t need supporters like this. If you don’t want to support them through bad times then just don’t. Easy.

He just doesnt seem like a very likeable person, i use tosser loosely however he just comes across as a coach, soft touch maybe, no very rigorous. Well we were 4th and flying high wining every game, had a winning mentality... you could see teams really hated playing against us, NOW THEY LICK THERE LIPS! He didnt have a chance to win us anything unfortunately. However a month ago we were still in every cup, nicely wedged in the playoffs... and pooof everything gone. ENJOY THE RIDE? hahaha we are playing 10x times worse football than under GC haha the players look disillusioned and without ideas Harsh but true and how is it going to get fans to keep going when posters here are already writing off the season ? He is going nowhere, this is obviously a total change & I do think many will not renew ST purchases. I'm sure they'll be back next time we're doing well. Faithful and true, until we got a run of bad form.

Yes I am fully aware and sometimes job roles dont work out for a number of reasons, Billy sharp scored the day after the death of his daughter... Fully appreciate he was having a hard time and I do hope he can turn it around, its just with the chain of events thats happened, he wont! And he has just signed a load of players who when the new manager comes in in a few months time he will have to start again and get rid of half the dross

The fact all people can refer to is an off day against bolton at home speaks volumes. I am very frustrated that within a month our season is done and everyone is talking about next season. I have heard Ben Garner speak about his philosophy but i have not seen one bit of evidence on the pitch. He has just panic purchased a load of under 23 and development players who will probably be on loan at chelt, forest green or exeter in a years time How can you call any of the signings panic signings? They haven't even played!
