I woke up this morning and recalled a dream about a blue team playing away to a red team and blue won the game. Checking last nights results it showed the power of dreams YEs Brummie beat the "***tards" 1 - 3. Rock & Roll is here to stay!!!!! Checking up on the league tables to see they hadn't gone 3rd as BBC had predicted showed something IMO has gone wrong with football these days. After 30 games played in the Championship Only one club in the bottom 12 positions in the table has a positive goal difference i.e. Reading with +2. Only 5 teams have a goal diff of over 10 goals. Swansea in 8th position has only +1 diff. The "**it" in 6th ( not 3rd ) position has +2 diff. I thought football was about entertainment and that in terms of football generally means goals. Yes I have senn boring 3 - 3 draws and brilliant 0 - 0 draws but goals means prizes ( or lack of ) after 46 games. I look back a few years ago and think of a certain team who took a 25 - 30 goals a season player away from a club just to sit him on the bench for a few seasons then loan him out because they couldn't sell him because of the excessive pay differences between divisions. How many other clubs collect goal scoring players on high pay just to sit on the bench or worst just making up squad numbers and not even play in games in front of spectators? In many ways you can't blame players moving and trebling their pay to rot away in these unwatched games, but it does bring a wry smile to my face when you see modern players stating their passion to play for the shirt only to be gone tomorrow for more money. How many of these forgotten players could have been heroes of other clubs when at the peak of their careers? Money is the name of the game! That's why for me the likes of Stuart Taylor in the quarters will never be seen again!

Just a dig at our neighbours I would suggest. The said player in spite of several injurys made 67 appearances for them in two years and scored 7 goals. Had his chance at a higher level and now loaned out to a team at our level, his goals tally would suggest he clearly failed. I could name two players much closer to home on good money who failed, one now loaned out and the other on a fancy money contract still here and laughing all the way to the bank.

Didnt you know that football is an evil thing, recently it has been the cause of people becoming betaholics, as well as being responible for mental health issues.
Should be banned and people should be forced to go to church instead, not that you may not be safe there either.

That's why for me the likes of Stuart Taylor in the quarters will never be seen again!More’s the pity. I enjoyed the game more, when players were paid £25 a week, and then the had to get jobs as a postman or publican after the retired. I blame Jimmy Hill, Bosman, Agents, PL, Sky, Steve Lansdown & all the players for wanting to earn a good living from the game!!! Seriously tho it’s gone far to far the other way, even mediocre players on mega money - I heard an advert on the Radio to see the s**t at home, with adult match day tickets starting at £30, I haven’t been there since 1968, I assume they have nice bogs, for that price. Even a blind man can see the main issues in the game, when an average PL player can command a transfer fee, for more than it will cost us to build a stadium & clubs going out of business, unable to pa6 a debt that some PL players earn in a month. It’s money mad.
