Well that was pretty dreadful.
Admittedly I missed most of the first 15 minutes due to a series of local power cuts where we apparently created some chances but since then it's looked like a couple of average conference teams playing on a below average conference pitch.
Sorry to say that Ollie Clarke is having a stinker, hardly involved and when he is involved he fouls, gets disposesed or makes an awful pass. Needs subbing off.
On a brighter note we seem to have a a half decent referee. Thank god after the last two.

BG chucking Barrett straight in when he was obviously overweight and unfit and now had a few weeks training but not had a chance is odd

That pitch is so bad, no team could play football on that. They are battling hard. I hope they get the rub of the green (brown) second half as the knives will be out. We are the only team trying to play a bit of football but we just need an ugly win please.

Mansfield (4th from bottom) are losing. Morecambe & Stevenage (below Mansfield) are both winning. Sad state of affairs since we said our fair wells. Neither ourselves or Mansfield can buy a win. [ Never in the course of football history have the fans of two clubs been mugged off so badly by the nagging wife of one man ! |

Leahy nearly made the same mistake as the other week there. Leahy has made a few serious interceptions and blockages as you might have noted if you could watch objectively. |

The alarming thing is that it’s so bad, people were being positive about losing 3-1 at Wycombe. That reflects the state of affairs at the moment. |

We are the only team trying to play a bit of football but we just need an ugly win please. 7 of the last 8 teams to visit tranmere won (watford being the exception, and I'm not sure they wanted to win), those 7 teams managed 20 goals on the quagmire, not sure it's that difficult if you know what you're doing! |
