I would actually say it's the death of both clubs but in different ways we will just slide away due to our ageing fanbase general apathy and the lack of youngsters who want to watch us on matchdays and city who are gradually removing any connection to their historical fanbase and promoting their bland plastic corporate identity to appeal to the newbies living in Bristol who want the premier league experience of entertainment.

4000 seater venue. I attended the snooker last week in Cheltenham and thought at the time Bristol should be attracting these kind of events. More cash in the Bristol Sport coffers by the look of it.

Haven’t you heard we’re on the verge of having an artists impression done of the Fruit Basket Stadium.

We should market ourselves as a sort of 70s old school football experience.
Terraces, muddy pitches, short shorts etc

Makes me sick. They basically go ahead and achieve everything that we as a club strive for and make it look easy and it makes us look like complete dicks.
I am so desperate for our club to actually get up off it's arse and start to move into the 21st century, so we can at least attempt to compete for younger and newer fans. Currently it's a write off unless parents can somehow persuade their youngsters to follow the Gas.

Fear not Gasheads they may have marginally better facilities and infrastructure but we now have an ace up our sleeves, Ben Garner and his philosophy. We just need to be patient UTG!

does not bother me one bit, why should it? Bristol council must be happy some one else is providing the facilities the City(the place ,not the team!)needs. look most of my acquaintances drive new or nearly new cars ,i have an old ford ,but it does what i want it to do and its MINE, and paid for, so it is with football , Rag bag Rovers are my team , a team with a special culture and fans to match, i have no interest in the 'plastic' culture of our neighbours or what they have , do Tranmere fans look at Liverpool and Everton with envy?, do Oldham, Wigan, and the like look at the Mancs and go green with jealousy ,no way , put the green eyed monster behind you Gas eds and let em get on with it, our day will come, up the Rovers

At some stage we all have enjoyed as you put it the rag bag rovers identity. Unfortunately that doesnt really apply to the youngsters who now watch live football. My nephews and their mates dont have a tie in with any bristol clubs but if they want to go to a game on the spur they all head off to ashton gate.Dont care who wins so long as it's a day out watching a match. It's about the customer satisfaction. Look at age demographics at the mem on Saturday and then you will see the future
