Asked my daughter (ted) if she was going to see their game against Derby and said she could'nt afford the £42 for a ticket. So i hope all these new fans have a few quid to spare.

Makes me sick. They basically go ahead and achieve everything that we as a club strive for and make it look easy and it makes us look like complete dicks. I am so desperate for our club to actually get up off it's arse and start to move into the 21st century, so we can at least attempt to compete for younger and newer fans. Currently it's a write off unless parents can somehow persuade their youngsters to follow the Gas. Thing is they landed a billionaire , if they hadn’t Ashton fate would still be a shithole with no corporate hospitality. In the best case scenario we’d be bought by a billionaire who is nothing like Lansdown ie not turn it into a plastic sport franchise. If it ever happens then the Leicester way would be great , the shithead way would tear the soul out of our club. Chances are well keep on doing things the ragbag Rovers way though.

Although lets not forget the Ashton Vale extravaganza, residents are already complaining about the lack of parking, traffic problems etc.. that this new monstrosity will cause.
As a relative local it wont be of any use to me

Their season ticket prices aren’t dissimilar to our seated ones and the child season tkts are £70 and that is with a shirt

They’re heading in a direction where future generations could eventually be priced out, there are a lot of people out there that would rather pay much less and just watch some lower league football

And the gulf is widening year on year. What can we offer young supporters? A terrible view in a stadium that resembles Chernobyl.

People expect more than a tent or cold terrace nowadays. We're not exactly cheap to watch.

As a relative local it wont be of any use to me First thing I did when I saw the plans was fret about the transport links (unfortunately local) Match days round AG are carnage due to poor bus routes. Hoping they can open up the park and ride, improve the bus services and open up the disused railway line that runs by the Metrobus line

If you make the event attractive you will find ways of getting there. Doesnt stop the large entertainment venues from selling out with limited parking and infrastructure around them.

None of us are stupid enough to think we will ever be able to compete with the sh*t in the short term. Piggy Higgs & Waq sold us a line and then sold the supporters out. Our fans will only grow through our loyal family alliance to BRFC. Although if somebody does not invest asap, if the club exists in the future, it will probably be as a national league club rather than a championship side.

Fear not Gasheads they may have marginally better facilities and infrastructure but we now have an ace up our sleeves, Ben Garner and his philosophy. We just need to be patient UTG! Yes, Garner is a long shot that may pay dividends in the not too distant future. In the mean time the self pity and lack of dignity is part of the "gift that keeps giving" which entertains the sh**e so much and some of us just do not see it. Do not covet thy neighbour's ass. Just remember we started out with nothing and we still have most of it left.

We couldn't give a monkey's ,off to live in Spain soon. Trust me you will still care about Rovers as much! Been here 12 years and still feel the same as I did for the 40 odd years I supported them while living in Bristol. It’s a life sentence, 😀 IPG
