Dennis the menace would have sounded more of a threat!
If I get killed in this storm id rather not have it go down in history that Dennis finished me off.
Might get mistaken for a victim of Dennis Nielsen and people will think you ended up in small pieces blocking the drains of north London! Perhaps being killed by Denise sound better?
I don't think I would be young enough for Nielsen!
Denise would be a shout, as long as her surname is Van Outen and its death by asphyxiation after a sex marathon (that's 20 minutes for me..).

Well let's hope a stand doesn't blow over the pitch, or it could be the first time a team has played under a tented roof!.

If the game's on I'll be there, and it will be my first one this year. What's the opposite of a fair weather fan? A wet one

...Blackman to score direct from a goal kick! Not allowed.Clearance ok but not from a goal kick.Think we score so few goals that we'd take anything. I was curious so checked the FA website and Law 16 states that “a goal may be scored directly from a goal kick, but only against the opposing team; if the ball directly enters the kicker’s goal a corner kick is awarded to the opponents if the ball left the penalty area”. So as Blackman is winding up to punt it downfield I think we should encourage him to “shoot”! 😂

Can see it being the lowest crowd of the season, who wants to come stand on an open terrace with the form we’re on? I’ve never understood why people stand in the open bit in the rain when they could be under cover. Join me tomorrow to find out.... I think I was one of just eight who lasted the whole of the Stevenage game. You feel both the pain and the less likely joy so much more.

I think it is likely to be called of due to the wind not sure what the tented stands are designed to withstand they may already be blowing about on Horfield Common🌪🌪

I would have thought a safety certificate would have only been provided if the tents could survive in very extreme weather conditions.
The stadium is exposed to the elements so the tents must be weighed down and supported sufficiently.
Let's hope someone in midfield uses the elements and shoots on sight.

This isn't Wycombe.

Just had a chat with TG. Game on and no inspection planned at the moment. It would be nice if the club posted that update on their social media platforms as alot of fans must be wondering if the match is still on especially if they travel any distance.

Such a day separates the hardcore from the mere pretenders.
Especially in the open terrace game. I’m anticipating plenty of space today and 3 points to warm us all up come 5pm.

It doesn’t matter whether the game is on or off.
To the girlfriend, the game is always on!

well there is a warning of danger to life from the Met office, but there has been little life in our team recently anyway so I cannot see Dennis being much of a danger to the player, just us fans.
