I’d give my left nut for Rovers to be 2-0 down in championship.

Decent first half from the Gas, happy with 0-0 at HT.

Would agree with Keith Brookman's review of the ref so far. Not often you see a decent ref these days. Sunderlands Forum doesn't quite agree. They feel like they should've had a stone wall pen. On a side note. Most of their match day thread is bickering about all the rubbish blowing across the pitch, quite good entertainment. Think he's been strong and fair.

Judging by the clip posted on their forum I'd say they may have a point regarding the pen. Can't judge in the whole, just following the forums/soccer Saturday

To be honest, I was starting to wonder whether a carrier bag has ever scored a goal before, because if not it may happen today. Well, a paper cup scored a goal for Derby v Forest a few years ago, just ask Barry Roche, so a carrier bag could be next!

Taking my blue tinted spectacles off for a minute, I would say that’s a pen. Doesn’t get the ball and brings down the player.

Presumably the Ref was better positioned than the camera and saw a touch on the ball by Leahy.

Lucky call for us.Good job no VAR!!!! You don't dive like that with 2 hands unless you're trying to kid the ref.

Leahy looks to have got a touch, only because the Sunderland chap was putting his feet together for the dive .

Leahy caught out again though from a simple set piece … he truly does not have a footballing brain !!

Oh dear - he was on 9 yellows anyway. Not sure how that works for suspension?
