It was easy to tell them apart - we were the team that lost Shrewsbury could have played in high vis vests and it wouldn't have made any difference. Shrewsbury also had the same 'problem'. Think we are looking for excuses that arent there. It’s a fair excuse but that performance was beyond the odd misplaced pass.

You're saying they're playing crap because of BG? Watching yesterday, I'd have to disagree. That performance was down to players not playing well. And it's not for the first time since BG took over. Yep. They’re not playing well because of the tactics, they’re not playing well as he’s clearly not a man manager who can motivate his team. GC, love him or loathe him, was great at this. Whilst they had sh** games under GC and before him DC, GC had a knack of getting them prepared to grind out results, even if the performance was disappointing. BG is a textbook manager and has been found out. Time to go. It’ll probably need a talented manager of a similar mould to GC to sort these lot out (not saying Warnock but a Warnock type - I’d love him for a multitude of reasons but he just wants his 12 matches and I want a long term appointment) but BG hasn’t given any demonstration he could prepare a team to compete next season. Tactics, agreed, but to say the likes of yesterdays result is down to Management isn't right. It was down to lack luster uninterested totally lost performances by far too many players who should know, and do, better.

Whilst it is certainly true that none but a few of our players showed any effort or desire at all yesterday, I think the management needs to take responsibility for continuing to make mistakes like leaving JCH isolated, persisting with the same dreadful midfield and failing to motivate the players at half time. It’s a situation where everyone has to take some responsibility for.

Nobody lacked determination when GC was in charge. They wouldn't have dared! "If you play well, you keep the shirt, if you don't, you lose it." How refreshing that was after DC picked players from a roundabout. But lets remember DC did a lot of good until he went on that coaching course!
