The virus will probably be hitting it’s peak in under a months time. I can’t see there being much of a chance of fixtures being resumed on the 4th but we’ll see.

Open air a better place to be than in a pub or restaurant; this has come a week or two too early. As you say AxeGas, we wont be reconvening on the 4th.

Absolutely. Play up, play up, and play the game. My grandfather and his mates didn`t let WW2 stop them from playing the game they loved. He would have turned away in scorn at all these precautions. If he hadn`t been hit by a V2 rocket.

The EFL have today provided an update regarding the COVID-19 outbreak... In a statement released today by the EFL, they have stated the following regarding the COVID-19 outbreak... "The FA, Premier League, EFL and Barclays FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Championship have collectively agreed to postpone the professional game in England until 3 April at the earliest. "This action, which will be kept under constant review, has been taken due to the increasing numbers of Clubs taking steps to isolate their players and staff because of the COVID-19 virus. "The postponements include all matches in the Championship, League One and League Two, as well as all Academy and youth team fixtures. "In addition, Clubs are being advised to suspend indefinitely all non-essential activities which include, but are not limited to, player appearances, training ground visits and fan meetings. "Whilst the EFL Board has continued to take the advice and guidance offered by the Government and its health advisors, emerging developments mean now is the time to implement football’s contingency plans in response to the crisis. "A further update on these plans will be given post an EFL Board Meeting next week. This decision has not been taken lightly, but the EFL must prioritise the health and well-being of players, staff and supporters while also acknowledging the Government’s national efforts in tackling this outbreak." In light of these developments, ties against Ipswich Town, Peterborough United and Rochdale will all be postponed. Refunds will not be offered on tickets purchased for these fixtures at this time, with an update provided when they are re-scheduled.

Just come past The Gardens at UWE to see the 23s training there.

I worry what this Forum is going to be like with 3 weeks (minimum) of no footy to discuss/bleat about. Just ample time to kick (metaphorically speaking) lumps out of each other, tell bad jokes (allegedly), discuss flatulence and other bodily functions, and gawd knows what else....🙄
Let’s be kind to each other .......😍🥰😘
We are all Gasheads together.....
