Sorry to hear that Marshy I know you are over qualified but sainsburys and morrisons are recruiting asap , before something more your line turns up. Thanks mate, we’ll be okay thankfully we’ve got savings we can dip into. Unfortunately there are going to be a lot more people in my situation it’s just they way it is at the moment. I feel sorry for a lot of people who haven’t got anything to fall back on, real hard times ahead I’m afraid. I can’t believe what’s happening really, I’m a victim but I’ve still got my health and that’s all that matters really. Sorry to hear that dear chap. It’s worrying times for all businesses at the moment. I’m keeping my guys employed at the moment but it does depend on how quickly the govt can set up their support schemes and how long it goes on for. Hands may be forced when it comes to reducing the overheads.

Honestly I think it’s unrealistic to expect any news of stadium developments in the next 6 months at least as the priority will be keeping Bristol Rovers afloat and back on the pitch playing matches. And that includes having opposition to play against as much as our own affairs. Whilst we’ve been disappointed before by lack of progress off the field of all excuses this is by far the most reasonable one and we can’t knock anyone for lack of visible progress at this time. Our owners and management are only human and will be locked down like we are, concerned about their health, their families health, their friends, their financial circumstances present and future no matter how wealthy they are. Never before has the whole world been impacted so greatly, so widely, by the same matter at the same time. I will be expecting nothing. Agreed nobody will be expecting much in the way of progress with the world as it is at the moment. That doesn’t excuse the silence for the many months before Coronavirus arrived though.

i think the problem you are missing Gassy is that the people at the top have a history of saying lots but delivering nothing. You cannot blame people for being sceptical can you? Great gesture by Wael to ensure wages are paid btw so lets hope that is honoured but there will be a time limit which at the moment is the great unknown. But would you agree 4th that they have always covered the losses to date? Despite the various misinformation of some, the owners have always made good on that. Yes can’t argue with that.
