To be fair, O'Toole was a decent player for us, it just seems like he's judged by the fact we got relegated.... Imagine if he scored an equaliser against Mansfield. He would have gone down as a legend.... One thing I will say is that I've never seen any other player so committed to getting booked or sent off.... He could out run usain bolt over 100m if there was a fight going on at the end of it....

Can’t remember how to spell his name Miah Dennihy someone please correct me 😡 Miah Dennehy, one of the greats. Irish Republic International. As I recall his only decent game was Boxing Day 1979 v Swansea - scored 3 from memory and Harold Jarman in the dugout was going crazy. Always fun to watch but seldom any use! Signed from Walsall and I think was only with Rovers one season.

A decent player he was. Just had an awful attitude and not too many brain cells. Also was a lot better for us when he was on loan. Any player would be revered for scoring to save us from relegation, let’s be honest.

Thought we won 4.1 with all our goals in the second half at the Tote End. He was a bit of a character!!! I remember us playing some good football with Harold in charge.
