I was born under the Tote End bar.
Has I was walking down Stapleton road singing singing Rovers are the greatest, saw Alan Dicks lying in the street,I said to him what’s up my friend he said the Tote End took the East End,feel free to carry it on.
Come on there’s plenty more Tote Enders

Amazing really that there wasn't a song for our best ever player Geoff Bradford. No one used to sing then. Anyone make one up?

A few I remember (showing my age):
"Put John Galley* on top of a Christmas tree (x3) And this is what we'll sing "John Galley is a fairy na na na na na etc..."
*John Galley was the City striker at the time (c. 1968)
The Tote End boot walk
I was born under the Tote End Bar....
You're going to get your *** head kicked in
Greebo
I hear the sound of distant bums......
We are the Tote End and we are the best We are the Tote End so * off the rest etc.....
Don't think we had many songs for individual players though. Can think of only:
"Haroooollldddd" "Oggey Oggey Oggey Carl Gilbert" "Sandy - Sandy Allan - Sandy Allan is our king" "Viva Bobby Jones" "Ohh Brucie Brucie - etc..... (for Bruce Bannister)
Haven't got a lot to do over the next few weeks so will try to remember some more.

We don’t carry razors We don’t carry lead We only carry hatchets to bury in you head We are loyal supporters Fanatics everyone We all hate the Shrewsbury Town, etc
Pretty awful in hindsight, so we’re a lot of others I wouldn’t dream of chanting now 😩
