Bristol Rovers owe over £16 million to offshore tax haven based owners Dwayne Sports in Jersey. Bristol Rovers total losses now exceed £24 million.

To think Mr Higgs and Co were always put up as not knowing how to run a football club, looks like they were not that bad at it. To be honest I was one who said he was not very good at it, shows what I knew.

Who would want to own a football club then If anything good comes out of the current terrible situation it is the reorganisation of professional football.

Totally unrelated but on Netflix there is a series called the English game . It’s about how the start of professional football started in this country. I thought it was a good watch.
Re the figures...... we’re doomed ! ( repeat ad nauseam every year for the last 50 when these numbers are revealed) Ps we’re still going 😀

Be interesting to get several views of these accounts on here. My take for what it's worth,
1883 total losses were £4.1m.
Page 11 of the accounts: it is the intention of the family to maintain the club for the next year. Notice the word INTENTION. Up to now, the accounts have contained a going concern letter GUARANTEEING the maintaining of the club for the next 12 months. That is no longer there.
I believe I'm right in saying that the ongoing auditors are people introduced to the club by our CEO. Coincidence?
Hani has now distanced himself from the club, and Wael will run it himself.

One silver lining is that turnover is up by over £500,000 from £5.8 million to almost £6.4 million. Tom Gorringe clearly earning his wages.
Other than that it’s pretty bleak viewing, got to be said.

That amount is unacceptable and show how a fool and his money are easily parted and he’s supposed to be a bloody expert. I knew it would be bad but this is just beyond even my low expectations

Who is going to want to buy us if (although I wonder how this could possibly be the case) we are in debt to the tune of 23 million! At this point I do take my hat off to the Al Qadi’s because that much debt far exceeds the value of the mem so they must be putting their own money in finally. But what the hell is their end game? They do not have the finance to keep shovelling money into a pit like Lansdown does over the other side of the river. Scary times all around if you are a Rovers fan.

£23m in debt and you still have to stand on a sh**ty terrace and wade through 4 inches of water to go to the toilet. This is all going to end badly. Crowds over the next 10 years will decline. You only have to look at the number of supporters at the mem who are 65+ to realise that.

We were on our way to promotion under DC being run on a shoestring relative to where we are now. We’ve spunked just shy of 20 million in the years since and all we have done is tread water in league one whilst making no appreciable improvements to the infrastructure. Just let that sink in for a moment. 20 million just to stand still.

You only have to look at the number of supporters at the mem who are 65+ to realise that. We won't survive another 10 years. Higgs and Co were bloody geniuses (?) genii ? In comparison. I was just looking through notes I have taken at AGM's for both the S/C and the club. Last year in brackets: losses BRFC (£2.6m). now £3.3m 1883 (£3.26m) now £4.1m The last properly constituted board meeting was almost 13 months ago. Mar 5th 2019. Since that date neither KM or SH were updated on financial matters relating to the club and both have now been removed. This was a question I raised at a supporters club meeting long before the internecine warfare reached its climax. I believe that means only Wael and Martin have run the club since. So it's now down to them. Ive not spoken to Ken or SH, but I would hope that with the future of our club in such a dangerous state, all efforts to discredit or impune the integrity of former board members can be put away before the ultimate disaster. Because rest assured, this club is on the edge of oblivion.

My thoughts are Hani just resigned from from dwane developments ( the training ground) and no other part. How do you come to the conclusion that you have please as he’s still, very much, part of the rest ?
