If 2 leading bristol business figures were joining the board but are now not joining what is there to talk about? What we going say? "oh dear their not coming". So you're not a ting bit intrigued why two leading businessmen were about to join the board but then didn't? You have to assume they were most likely wealthy individuals, if so, they were probably looking to invest in the club as I can't see they would join just to make up the numbers.

No offence guys but I love these deja vu board bashing threads. 20 yrs or more on the forums , every season it’s a call for how the owners have gotta go and how incompetent they are . Round and round in circles we go ad nauseam and nothing really changes. Quite a lot has changed in those 20 years YG but at least the fans have done their bit. Year to June 1999 Year to June 2019Average Attendance 6275 8320 Turnover 2.7 million 6.3 million Profit ( Loss) before tax 1 million ( 4.1 million) Profit on player sales 1.9 million 573 K Owed to Bank 1.3 million 0 Owed to owners 0 16.1 million Net Equity 812 K ( 17.2 million) Staff 86 186 Prince of Orange, Yatton Courage Best 1.75 a pint Closed down and turned into flats (b*st*rds) Interesting figures, so who are these extra 100 staff we now employ if we only employ a dozen in hospitality etc on the non-playing side, I assume they must be employed on the playing side, so are players, coaches, physios etc side, if they are all full time and earn on average £25K a year each that probably explains were the bulk of the outgoings is being spent/the loss made? The big question must be do these extra 100 members of staff actually bring any benefits to the 1st team squad?

Maybe but the trouble is just like UWE,training ground, fruit market, hamer sacking etc we will never know. So what will happen is some posters will guess, others claim to be in the know but in the end we will know nothing again. Oh also the masters suspension, why was he suspended? We do not know again.
