Hi all, hope you're staying strong in these surreal times. We thought we'd launch a new series of episodes, given there's next to no on-field action to talk about, and take a trip down memory lane to discuss some standout seasons of days gone. In the debut episode of our new GasCast time machine series, the lads travel back in time to talk about Rovers’ eventful 2010/11 campaign. The Gas had given Paul Trollope the reigns after letting Lennie Lawrence go, but Rovers ended the season having been managed by four different coaches. The GasCast lads discuss the highs (Will Hoskins), lows (John Akinde) and share some of their memories from a season full of twists & turns. Max and Harley go head to head in a quiz-off! listen.gascastpodcast.co.uk/276671/3153052-time-machine-2010-11-season-gas-drop-despite-deadly-hoskinsHope you enjoy it, and it can give some of you a bit of light relief and something to have a laugh at whilst we're all locked down. Cheers, Fetch (Max)

Just listened to the first 30 mins... and Harley you're a spoon! City didn't sign Akinde from Alfreton... they signed him from Ebbsfleet.
Neno should have set a quiz question of "what was special about the signing of Akinde from Ebbsfleet to Bristol City?"
Anyone remember?

Just finished listening, top job lads!
I especially liked Max telling us about his dads car. Can we get a follow up episode on that please?

]Is this the transfer where Ebbsfleet were fan owned. The fans decided on an online poll whether or not to accept City’s bid?

Also, Ifil didn’t come to us from Swindon, he came from Aberdeen although he played for Swindon before that. The game he got red carded I believe was his third appearance for the club and he never got back in the squad after that. Good episode though, brought some good (and some bad) memories back.
