Seriously, you think grass seed grows to make a L1 standard pitch in just a couple of weeks? They're not seeding it, they're cutting the growth back to the roots. Talking about seedy, Where TF are Balders & Nobby...gone without a trace.

Seen Plymouth did their pitch weeks ago, think Tranmere did there's as well. We are not the first and we won't be the last. If it's only the top layer, it would probally be ready by the time we have to play anyway. Seriously, you think grass seed grows to make a L1 standard pitch in just a couple of weeks? The article I read from Plymouth said it normally takes 6 weeks, but it would be a lot shorter, as they were using special stuff. If we play, I expect it will be atleast 4 weeks away. I predict the experts know more than us.

On a football page on Facebook, lots of fans said there clubs had already started on the pitch. We are the only ones in the wrong though 😉

The league 1&2 have clearly said yesterday that season is gone www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52644313

The chances are we won't play again but as far as I'm aware that's not been confirmed by the EFL.

I’m no expert of course but reading the background to this for a few weeks has only confirmed to me what was said yesterday, ie, “BBC Sport understands there is a general acceptance among clubs that resumption of the season in Leagues One and Two is impossible.”

Personally I think we won't play, until next season. Even then it will be delayed, as the Premier League and the Championship won't be starting until later than normal. They have not decided either way yet though.

Decision made ages ago just trying to sort the details of how to carve up the league positions. 100%

There is an EFL meeting today which the BBC reported could resolve the season with teams finishing in their present position. So no more games and good time to sort the pitch.

Precisely, they were reporting yesterday the season was over which was clearly incorrect.
