A quick google search reveals that our total debt is higher than his entire net worth. Unless he is the head of a wealthy consortium, I can't see him wanting to inherit those kind of losses.

I don’t see us as a good deal for any prospective buyer. Rubbish ground, no training facilities, mountains of debt and 30+ years of searching somewhere to build a ground with no luck. I’d be staggered if anyone stumped up the funds to buy us. The Jordanians did and I bet they regret it.

Have I missed something - I thought that our debt was measured in terms of financial liabilities. We still have assets (the Mem, players etc) or is the £24M quoted after the assets are taken into account

Either way both figures exceed the value of our assets and the net worth of Redknapp (if he's supposedly worth £14m).

I guess that it would make sense to read the accounts before I made a statement like that.

If it happens It'll be Eastleigh.... ... or Poole Town. Like you say, something local. UTG! Whoever it is whatever you do don’t put Harry in charge of the money! It took AFC Bournemouth years to recover from his time as manager. And they just about avoided non league. Mind you he does like spending it but whether he’d be as happy to spend his own money remains to be seen. Just not us I hope.

A bloke with a history of bankrupting clubs and over-spending on wages with no long term vision or plan? No thanks.
