Yes Put forward your fully considered view as to why the free market should be interfered with. Go on. Free markets are ok if you have the money. Covid proved this by people with the money could get a test , pay for a test , get the result of the test almost instantaneously. Those without the means couldn’t . It creates a two / three four etc tiered society. A free market doesn’t abide by regulations and corners are cut in the pursuit of profit ( over ethics ) . I’m no expert (😂🙄) but sell me the free market oldie . You’ll struggle 😂

So what have you stopped buying that companies like BP supply and can you confirm that you have no private pension provision that is vested in companies such as BP. Thanks

Thanks I don't know and don't know what relevance that has to my opinion. Maybe you think it's fair enough that they're making all this money while people and the planet are suffering. I don't. No need to over complicate it.

No need to over complicate it. Because a private pension which invests in companies such as BP, which contributes to their profits, will also in the long term benefit you. Also I take it you have never owned an Apple phone or bought anything on Amazon because their profits are far greater than BP. Plus BP will be issuing share dividends to share holders from those profits.

Yes Put forward your fully considered view as to why the free market should be interfered with. Go on. Because f**k capitalism. f**k the free market economy myth. f**k unfair wealth distribution. f**k globalisation. f**k private pensions. f**k bankers. f**k money trading and the stock market parasites. And definitely f**k the 1%. This world is so wrong for so many reasons. It is all very clever of you to have a go at someone who has no choice but to operate within the system. I have a pension because I need one. Because the government uses my taxes to help the rich get richer, not to help me in my dying years. We all use BP products because we all use energy. They make obscene profits from a fixed kabul designed to make them rich. And rich people clutching their share portfolio get richer while grandma freezes to death this winter. But do not worry, the government will use my taxes to give everyone some more money so that we can spend it keeping warm so rather than the energy companies taking a hit, it is the poorest that pay the money straight into the energy companies bank accounts. And you wonder what is disgusting about it? And do not give me all that "what is a better way" because I do not need to explain a better way to know the way we are doing things now is not working. Trickle down economics did not work in the 1980s when Regan plucked it out of his arse and it still does not work now. The free market should be torn down because is the chains that bind us ordinary people and keeps us anything but free.

I agree that we have massive challenges and I agree that perhaps the biggest of them all is the income distribution problem. But, we are not going to address that with childish protestation, that's like shouting at the telly. We have to vote for policies that addresses these issues, where and when they are offered. But people do not. Like sheep they regurgitate the gutter headlines and allow themselves to be managed like said sheep in to a pen.

I don't like companies that try to monopolise the market and tie you in to their brand. Amazon, I will hold my hands up I am a bit of a hypocrite. I hate them as they have a monopoly, have ruined communities, creepy how they use and gain people's data for their own advantages, bad for the environment, bad for customer choice and competition but I have a young family and like many people prioritise convenience and time over a lot of things.

so BoE going to raise interest rates and put the squeeze on working people as well. Not sure how driving up rents and Mortgages is going to help the economy. The recession train is coming Always thought an increase in interest rates will help to lower inflation. Home owners with mortgages have benefited for many many years through very low interest rates. If they borrowed to the max based on ability to repay when rates were at an all time low they should have made allowances should rates increase. So in effect they only have themselves to blame for not making contingency measures. Who recalls paying 15% on their mortgage...I do.
