I mean, where do you start with this nonsense As normal with tightly cropped videos posted on Twitter you start by Googling the full context of the quote. They were discussing specific business regulations (like reporting on how many of your staff are LQBTQIT and how much a CEO gets paid in relation to the entry level workers), not important things like health and safety, economic or environmental regulations... ...moving that threshold from businesses with 50 employees up to those with 500 will free up those 50 staff to continue to grow the businesses....

He reported being unwell recently and will be having invasive investigations soon (possible cancer scare) which may explain him not being on here. I’m sure everyone wishes him the best. Blimey didn’t know that . Of course I wish him all the best and he’ll know I was just joking around. Here’s to a full recovery francegas you right wing loon ! FYI he mentioned it on the Health Chat page last month.

The U turn seems obvious once Truss through the Chancellor under the bus over the weekend when she said it was his idea. I see Chris Philp is being lined up as a potential scapegoat today.
The 45p cut was only £2bn so unlikely to affect the markets of itself, but I would imagine that it will add to the feeling of them having no plans.
Isn't the OBR take due after conference? Wonder if there will be a casualty. Liz Truss had little credibility before the mini budget, it'll be worse now.

BBC economics correspondent reporting that we are looking at £40bn in cuts. 40b in cuts to square 40b in tax cuts . Makes perfect sense 🙄

Hi guys firstly thank you for your kind wishes ...it does actually mean a lot. Basically I went to see my GP back in April as I had stomach problems. I described the symptoms and she said it "could" be a sign of stomach cancer. Not what I wanted to hear because I'm a born worrier and it's always been in my head that one day it would come back. She referred me to the hospital and I had to wait nearly 5 months. A few weeks back I had the hospital appointment where I was told I need to have a gastroscopy to find out what going on. I have another 3 month wait for this procedure!! So feeling a bit down at the moment. On top of that a friend of ours here in France committed suicide last week.

Thanks very much. Time will tell. In the real world it will not be like the leadership campaign. Surely you know that don't you? It's like a consituency Labour party meeting on here sometimes. And I should know. I'm a member of said party. I’ll come back to you in 6 months time 😃 Fancy that. Tax cuts reversed. No need to wait six months before the fire breathing stops and reality kicks in. It was all Tory bollocks designed to appeal to those who vote for right wing leaders but quickly frighten the rest of us living in the real world.

Just the top rate tax cut to save themselves from imploding for a few more weeks . This wasn’t done for a bit of ‘fire breathing’ , this was a core part of their thinking/ aims . They’ve suffered enormous damage but you think it was just a little show for the faithful. Ok 🙄

So no brownie points for you my friend . 😃
