I reckon it’s got something to do with the heat.
My mother has not made our WFH office space *cough living room cough* a safe working environment to deal with today’s heat due to the lack of air con. Therefore I shall be returning to my bedroom to play football manager on health and safety grounds. .

Perhaps they are waiting for Steve Hamer to pay them?

At least one digger was working and there was a guy mooching about the site office. A load of plastic pipes were delivered yesterday. The clubhouse behind the trees is well advanced. What surprises me is no work on the half of the site next to the M5. I assume they will do it in phases.

Could have had a meeting? Could be having a contractors breakfast?
Who knows?
I wouldn’t read into it unless it stopped for 2 weeks

Thread a chat with an ex member of rovers staff for another take on our future.Lookslike large external debt is heading our way ,in which case start making plans for AFC Rovers I don't suppose you've got an agenda have you? Not much comment from you following last week's news in light of your extensive comments like these ...

That’s what usually happens. 😁

I didn't want to get half way round and stop again. I actually don't mind the heat (ex RN....worked my balls off in some of the hottest countries in the world!!)

The comment I would make is that I renewed my season ticket this week knowing that ,because of my age and other issues I am not likely to see Rovers play before 2021.I cant make a greater commitment than that Delighted by the training ground development ( especially the location) But the stadium is the main issue.I dont believe our owner has the resources to go it alone so I will wait and see if external investors are involved and the terms and conditions they attached to their involvement. We cant continue as we have over the last four years and how you think "Rovers have been doing the right thing " during that period is bizarre. We need proper leadership this time round.

The site I'm on in central Bristol is dead today. At least half of our workforce of about 10 haven't bothered coming in as they clearly enjoyed themselves too much yesterday and other trades seem to be similarly down on numbers.

Assume with pitch prep there will be a lot of activity, then a period while earthworks settle etc and maybe less kit needed to next phase of surface leveling / seeding. The amount all the kit they had up there the other week must cost to hire they are not going to leave it sat there ..... Will I guess be a period of "waiting for grass to grow" when it may look like nothing at all happening.
