Have you not rumbled yet, Mr Hole, that Mr Tower and 'that old git' are one and the same?

No, not today. It's not always the same bloke. Appears more interested in the M5 traffic anyway, when they are there.

Cue sax music and dancing macho bikers....always rather fancied a turn at the lectern myself ...Police Academy, now there’s a sign of a misspent youth! If watching Police Academy is the sign of a misspent youth then I would hate to bump into you on a wild night out. Nah you’re right, it was released in 1984 and I didn’t see it in the cinema...so I probably got it from Blockbuster video a couple of years later which would have made me 23. I guess watching it just makes you feel like a naughty schoolboy as that is the level most of the jokes are aimed at!

The site I'm on in central Bristol is dead today. At least half of our workforce of about 10 haven't bothered coming in as they clearly enjoyed themselves too much yesterday and other trades seem to be similarly down on numbers. Spoke to a chippy mate of mine at 11am today whos working on the new houses in WSM on the old helicoptor site. I asked what he was up to and his reply was that he just walked off site as he was already sunburnt from the searing sun putting some roof beams in and it was so hot doing second fix on another house inside that he couldnt see nails for sweat. I sent my guys home at 3pm today after it rose to 41'c in the workshop and i fed them ice lollys and ice cold water all day. You cant work in it.

Luckily I'm on the ground floor of an 8 story hotel so it isn't too bad but there's people working on the roof! So add the heat to dodging the bloody seagulls all day.

What is the point in putting a thread on here with a negative and missleading title. If it's someone's idea of a joke I'm struggling with the humour

Thread a chat with an ex member of rovers staff for another take on our future.Lookslike large external debt is heading our way ,in which case start making plans for AFC Rovers I don't suppose you've got an agenda have you?Not much comment from you following last week's news in light of your extensive comments like these ... That made i laugh, and i suppose you don't have one either..........

Cant argue with this but a poster beat me to it this morning when he posted" what ever happens next we cannot be run like we were pre covid " But that's not really relevant to you claiming that work had stopped on the training ground? I could tell tou why work stopped but then you would not believe me so i wont
