Staggering that statistic to be honest especially when you consider that fans were queuing up to buy last years kit.
I think Rovers are benefiting from the upturn in online shopping trends and the vastly improved marketing each new shirt received. Impressions on Twitter turn into hits on the Club Shop website which ultimately turn into sales of the merchandise.
This is something that Tom Gorringe has been working hard to make sure the football club improves upon and it is a massive reason why revenues have grown so much since he joined.

Mine arrived today. Home and away both look great. Size seems a bit bigger even though measurements are the same (bought size L like last season) - seem to be a bit more generous and longer (and I’ve definitely not lost weight!).
I’m not surprised they’re selling well - positivity around the club, plus many who are saving on attending games are looking to spend in different ways.

Top work by TG. I think we sold 6000 shirts for the Trolls and Wardy Wembley seasons. To beat that record and get record shirt sales during lockdown is truly unbelievable.

Finally able to get a Home kit though. Had to go a size up this year no longer fitting into my old shirts. Girlfriend tells me it’s all the DIY I’ve been doing but think it’s more likely to be the beer!

I know this isn’t strictly Rovers related (so move / delete as necessary), but has anyone seen the new C&ty goalkeeper tops? I assumed it was a wind up at first, but no. I won’t post the pictures here in case anyone has a photosensitive neurological condition (or hangover) but well worth looking up if you need a laugh.

I prefer shirts with quarters on the back. Sadly I doubt if we will see shirts like that again

Obviously apart from the badge and the arseholes wearing them, but I wish we had interesting ones. Been plain gk kits as long as I can remember

Maybe if we had away kit that matched the rainbow colours of ROYGBIV then we might get that pot of gold at the end of the season? At least we will be flying high but have our heads in the clouds?
