I would have thought it was Davies (to Mansfield?) as Menayese only recently signed for another year? Would be happy for anyone to buy any of our full backs apart from Hare though. Isn’t Davies broke until January though? Knee op was done in March and 9 months out? Could be wrong but that’s what I had been loosely told. Yeah I heard something about him being on crutches but didnt know to what extent the injury was

Kramer vs Kramer? Pffffffft you should read the people vs Gasincider. I quite liked spy v spy on the zx spectrum..... Can you imagine how amazing a remake of that game would be if you had to sneak around the terraces, offices, and hospitaliy at the mem trying to obtain ITK information..... No

Funny - seen the title when I logged on to the forum and thought "bet that's a Gasincider thread".
Surprise, surprise, I wasn't disappointed.

I was told Saturday night we had sold a player but wasnt told the identity so I would be speculating if I had put out a few names. However Sam Frosts live chat suggested a defender may be leaving so that narrows it down considerably. I wouldnt criticize the decision as long as we attached a large sell on clause If we are looking for a sell on clause then its either Alfie or Rollin

Well right now, no one has left, and no one HAS to leave. It’s not compulsory redundancy, it’s voluntary. So basically, for example, if you have someone who is 64 and about to retire at 65 and can retire, if they offered themselves to be made redundant the club would put forward a severance package. Martin Starnes is about that age is he not? You need to just let it go and move on. Notice how you haven’t praised the fact that it is voluntary redundancy, the club should be cheered for not pushing people out with nothing, but of course that would mean praising the owner and we all know your not about that. Do your self a favour and let go of all this hatred for the owner UTG

Why would it now be a strange experience going into the shop? Surely if you’re going into the club shop you go in there to browse the club merchandise, and on that front nothing will change. I’d also put the 233% increase in sales volumes largely down to the vast improvement of our online store. As sad as it is someone losing their job, more and more of us are purchasing items online and means less physical manpower required. Surely that an easy one as the staff in the shop is about the most stable thing at the club for a few seasons

I guess those being offered voluntary redundancies would be the bar manager and bar staff and those involved with the hospitality side of the business. With the way things are going, be next year before the government will discuss spectators being allowed to watch sport.

There’s not gonna be one company that isn’t struggling right now, is it rovers fault that there is a virus? Is it rovers fault no games were played? It’s horrible that people may potientally lose there job, but at least they are being given the nice option of voluntary. I’m sure there are slot of companies throwing a lot of people to the wall.

If we can get rid of a bit of back room dead wood that can be better spent on team strengthening and building a new ground then what's not to like about this announcement? After all, we're a football club, not a charity

It's voluntary redundancy though, people who volunteer to go with a severence package. Might suit some people? It's far, far different at this tage from getting rid of people against their will.

Notice gasincider has once again thrown his grenade into the pond and disappeared again. Trying to spread doom and despondency in the midst of good news about the training ground and new signings (apparently working within a restricted budget). All businesses are going through hard times. My daughter has a small beauty salon. With the Government backtracking 2 days before a full reopening she is having to make difficult decisions on whether she can afford to keep on staff and a younger lesser skilled girl may have to go whilst she retains the more experienced technically better ones. At least the club is offering voluntary redundancy. They could have chosen to force them out as the 82ers have done. I know which is a darn site better. But hey if it fits a sad agenda to do as much damage to morale then I am sure he will be back once he has something else to moan about. I thought at one time he had genuine reasons for opposing the current regime but any sympathy I had has waned at the continuing destructive moaning, bitterness, and willing destructiveness in his posts. I genuinely feel sorry for the guy. Perhaps if he hung around to respond to opposing posts and answered questions put to him then there might be an ounce of interest and constructive dialogue.

Perhaps he’s waiting for the first confirmed redundancy to be confirmed so he can come on here with an epitaph full of I told you so’s.
