Wrong! Just paid 22 quid for a load of it for my allotment. You could of got Taylor on a free ! Last time I had a load, the farmer dumped it right in the middle of the track between plots. When I went to move it, a rather posh lady on a nearby plot said, "Oh, so that's yours, it it?" I replied, "No, I think it's cows', actually". Not spoken since. I know, I know, what's that got to do with football. Sorry.

I am in the minority that would have liked him back with us.

At least he's not gone to one of the bigger L1 club's and will come back to haunt, looks like he's decided to move into semi-retirement on the back of his 82ers contract. You realise Oxford were in the playoffs this season, don't you?

Surprised someone like Coventry or Rotherham not gone in for him.Guaranteed goals in league1 so a bit of a coup for Oxford. I believe they have both been promoted. That little Sh1t proved whilst at the Sh1t that he isn't a Championship player. I can't wish him anything but bad luck I'm afraid. The way he gleefully went along with the Sh1t in shafting us was unforgivable.

Each to his own. I can remember quite a few coming back, managers as well as players, and it not working out. The only one that stands out is Gerry. Played for us, then came back as manager. Third stint wasn't too bright though.

Third stint wasn't too bright though. It’s all pretty academic as it was never going to happen anyway but the only concern I would have had was his recent injury record and no concern of the ‘footballing treason’ that some seem to view. Makes me laugh when football fans of people take a moral high ground!

I find it difficult to believe that any supporter would want him back in the quarters after the manner of his departure.

Apart from the fact that it doesn’t usually go well 2nd time around, I would have him back.

No the blokes a lady garden. Good player but the biggest lady garden in football. Good signing for Oxford though.

But if we were to sign someone like MT with his scoring record, with his skill and on a free we’d be celebrating like mad. It was a great two and a half years but we move on. UTG!

And we were in the automatic promotion spots at Christmas - lets not forget we had all played different teams in different circumstances .... I would argue it was not even a real season ..... Lets see how they do over a full season.

He is/was a well paid lady garden. He took the money and who's to say we wouldn't do the same.
I would never have him back or p!ss on him if he was on fire but he knew that and made his choice.
Forget the snake.

Lets see how they do over a full season. Over the course of the season (allowing for all the circumstances), under the points per game system used to determine the playoffs, Oxford made the playoffs and we didn't. That is just a fact. It will be interesting to see how we both get on next season, but as it stands I would say they have better options in midfield and attack, and are still attempting to sign Garath McCleary and re-sign Liam Kelly from Feyenoord and Marcus Browne from Middlesbrough (plus others no doubt).
