Seems they don't care about the actual football, only the politics and the skullduggery that must make them feel ever-so-important. Knowall hasn’t posted for some time and I believe his health isn’t what it could be. If that’s the case he’s probably got other things to attend to and at the end of the day this is only football. He s at the civil court watching fence gate, still unpaid ffs tents will be seized as assets 😂

I wonder why he was told he could leave coventry by robbins. I know it sounds negative to post that but it does make me curious. I'd suggest it was because he wasn't in the first team plans, because they have a number of quality players in his position. Probably correct, believe they have spent some money on players from abroad since their promotion as well. If your not really wanted its best to go somewhere that you are which he has.

Coventry have massive debts probably now approaching 50 million , also have no home, so i suspect to bring in new players with championship experience they need every penny they can get and Rovers waived a decent transfer fee in front of them.

Everybody's been asking for a quality central midfielder and here he is. This guy can play. I remember Sercombe's first season. He was outstanding. I suspect Zain is even better. I notice there may be some reservations about his tackling. Simple. Just pair him up with another midfielder who can tackle. We've already got a couple of those at the club.
A really good signing.

Coventry and their central midfielders are like us and CHs a week or so ago. They have a few of them, just spent £1.5m on a German central midfielder. Like us they are now recouping in their excess position. We got rid of Rollin they have sold us ZW. They’re going up a league so I suppose they are looking to improve. UTG!

Tremendous signing, just what we needed, a creative midfielder who is looking to assist & score, brilliant. Yes , not a coincidence that since Lines went out of favour / left we’ve been pretty awful at keeping the ball. Coughlan got us winning without being able to keep it with his tactics and it worked but for Garner to succeed he obviously needs footballers in midfield. Pleased with this signing hopefully he’ll be a success but really there’s no such thing as a great signing on day one. If he does the business then he will he if he never really gets going then he won’t, but he’s certainly got the potential and experience already to be a very good player for us this season.

Holy number crunchers! Second assists. Progressive passes. There's a stat for everything nowadays. I just feel sorry for the poor bloke with the clicky thing who has to count them all.

Is it just me, or does Zain Westbrooke have an extraordinarily long neck?
He should win his fair share of headers in both boxes.

Get promoted, go up a league, have to change the players and bring in better players? When we went up from Conference to L2, core team stayed the same? Got promoted again! Hate when this happens to players who have played for the team week in week out and given their all only to be told you are not good enough higher up.

yaz, only time will tell if he is good enough as the Championship is a big step and Coventrys loss could be our gain. The feature of our team that went up two seasons running were for me that DC had an excellent knowledge of the Non League scene and was able to bring in players who were high quality at that level and proved good enough to go up from League Two as well. IMO he was then out of his depth as were a lot of the players. Managers have to make decisions that they live or die by and Robbins decision may be one that bites him on the ass.
