I don't really get all this secrecy. Newport's decision apparently.

I don't really get all this secrecy. To avoid unwanted visitors? Who's really going to travel to Newport to try and watch our reserve side play? Even if they did they'd get turned away at the entrance gates.

It looks like there's a gap in FGR's fixture tomorrow: "Yate Town this Saturday and Melksham Town on Tuesday. We also travel to League One newcomers Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, August 29. Swansea City on September 1st"

If so, I presume that means no streaming?

I heard on Wednesday that we also have a friendly lined up away to Newport, probably not at Rodney Parade though. I didn't say anything as I figured the club are going to want to keep things under wraps. But, given that the Evening Post have published details of the Bristol Manor Farm game then this stuff evidently can't be that top secret! It looks like the limited info. I got a couple of weeks ago from a friend who follows Newport was correct. Very surprising that no more info. got out during all that time. I too don't understand the secrecy, although the FAW site would be pretty easily accessed as it shares a car park with the leisure centre, but I really don't see people trying to attend.

Maybe we're set to play Bristol C*ty and they've decided to keep it under wraps until 15 mins before K.O. I will be down Ashton Park on Saturday , i’ve got a new cricket bat to break in.

Have you thought some Newport fans might turn up, got to respect other clubs decision The game was at the FAW Dragon Park, in Newport. Although there are high fences, it is adjacent to a public car park at a leisure centre.
If the fixture was pre-announced there, it definitely would have attracted some spectators - so I agree with you.

FGR at 1pm just announced, I assume the club must think it's too late for fans to now travel the 30 mins or so to Nailsworth in order to try and get in a locked ground.

Josh Hare's free kick goal v Newport That is a cracker! It would be great if Josh Hare could be our next set piece specialist. We don't seem to have had one for a while?

And today we play FGR behind closed doors ..... No details on a stream. Disappointing if there isn't one available.

I notice they have said FGR is behind closed doors rather than saying it is at the new lawn as it would risk people watching from the hill behind the open terrace. Edit:- Not at the new lawn. Stanley Park which I believe is Chippenham
