Massive half time for Garner. Has he finally learned how to give a team talk and coax a second half performance that’s better than the first? Sunderland know they are in a game now and might go through the gears in the second half Anything more positive ? we're 1 up ! |

Blatant dive there glad the ref wasn't fooled. So why didn't he show him a yellow? Well he should of imo. |

Definite improvement on the Ipswich game. Seems like we have stopped fannying about playing it out from the back. Isn’t that the essence of Garner-ball though? I’m only listening to the commentary, what are we doing if we aren’t playing it out? They are closely marking the two defenders in the box for goal kicks so we aren’t risking it. Get the feeling we will when there’s space, but won’t be forcing it |

Cant see that Grant is an improvement on Ogogo. Early days I suppose. Whilst I like Ogogo. Think it's an odd comment given Abu picked up a silly red card in this fixture last year. |

Couldn’t get ifollow to work on Edge or Chrome but it’s working on Safari on my iPad. Can’t get commentary, so it’s a weirdly echoey Stadium of Light. And I missed Leahy’s penalty! Wim watching on my iPad on safari as well. At first I couldn’t get commentary so I pressed the wheel symbol, chose away commentary and it worked. UTG! |

. This is just sh**e...glorified practice match. We need the grounds back open....FAST! I wouldn't hold your breath. Can't see the October plan happening now with the new restrictions and rightly so. People haven't been responsible so they have to crack down again 🤷🏻♂️ |

Very decent away performance so far, we've defended well & limited them to very few chances. We'll need to keep the ball better 2and half but do look dangerous on the counter attack. Big 45 mins coming up 3 points here would be huge not just for Garner but for the players confidence as well

I found the commentary off button and it’s so much better without it.
The thought of having it listen to Hoskins all season was making Covid football feel not worth it.
I did turn it on for one minute and Hoskins said “ Sunderland is a really nice part of the world”

Good first half but take away the penalty and you would be think rovers are hanging on a bit.
Safc genuinely worried about the pace of most of the rovers team. Need to exploit that more.
