We should really be beating Walsall’s U21s, all players involved should hang their heads in shame. In fairness, we get these results all the time in this competition as nobody takes it seriously any more. That said, you’d think BG would want to prove something. |

Surprised no, disappointed yes..... This should be bread and butter with the players we have. The players need to prove they can eat bread and butter before we go saying that. Two games in and the fantastic summer of recruitment is looking...erm...not as fantastic as first predicted. Particularly defensively. The players are arguably better than we had. The issue is the formation and how they are being asked to play. |

Like trying to ask a keeper to play out like a world class player from the back when he can’t pass for sh**. It’s simple really, play to your players strengths not some theoretically nice way to play. I though Walsall were easier on the eye and playing more free flowing attacking football than us. And that’s what BG is all supposed to be about. Instead, our players just look confused. |

And so it continues from last season but now were using his chosen players He can’t be judged for another three games at least yet, so plenty of time for him to rip off the sheep’s clothing and reveal the slick movez he’s been hiding from us. We’ll have learnt how to defend by then too, I’m sure. |

This is no longer pre season, whatever you think of the competition. I have always supported whatever the manger, whoever to the last possible moment. I am not an expert , not a coach, just a gashed, However things need to change
