I hope BG puts out a strong team, starting a 11 that he will likely field on Saturday against Sunderland. Build some confidence before our first league game of the season. Glad the fans aren't allowed in still for this one, cringing at the thought of people giving BG stick and shouting we want DC back... Wasn't it £5 to attend EFL Trophy games previously? Or was it £10? Memory's going. IFollow is charging £10 UK but £7 overseas. With no fans being allowed to attend, should iFollow not be reducing / equating the charge in the UK? I understood that the main reason for making iFollow available overseas was not only to promote the game but to allow overseas fans access to the game. If home fans cannot access the game, and until they are not allowed to attend, should iFollow charges in U.K. not also be reduced? Down The Charge UTG

Walsall fans will be gutted Leahy isn't starting! They told us all about him last year! I remember their bemusement of us signing him.

Down The Charge UTG All cup & league games are £7 overseas, I'm not sure why we're charging £10 for Trophy games in the UK although that seems the standard charge for all EFL games being broadcast in the UK due to CV19.

I don't care who plays just want a 4-0 confidence building win with fluid attacking football.
Reality will be 1-1 or a goal either way of that.
Not sure whether it's worth a tenner to watch ...will decide at the last minute.

Who else has test crowds? Bet they are all in the South East? Even the Surrey cricket match had fans. Does the South West have so many Covid cases? Can we not have a test event? UTG PS Yes, I regard Cambridge (and Oxford) as London / South East. PPS Gloucestershire vs Northants cricket was abandoned at 66-6 on the 6th because a Northants player tested +ve.

There’s a lot of 6’s there, spooky! It must be the sign of the beast? Also, I’ve just noticed there’s 66% battery on my phone. 😱

I'll tell you "who dun it" if you like: it was "Prof Ayunga" with the "back of his ass" (lucky deflection) in the "six yard box". 1-0 Ayunga Now you know you can watch Murder She Wrote with no qualms whatsoever

Some interesting match ups tonight; L2 has Exeter vs Forest and Newport vs Cheltenham? Good pointer for league for West Country teams?
Ipswich play Arse 21s; hopefully Ipswich thrash them?

So is there a boycott?
I'm tempted to have the gas on laptop & England on TV, could be a boring night.

With no fans allowed in, why are we not kicking off early to avoid wasting money on floodlights. Unlikely to have high viewing figures at £10 (more than if fans allowed to attend) so more money down the drain!

Tonight will be interesting. I don't care that its only an EFL trophy game there will be an obvious comparison between BG and DC. The tactics and organisation (or lack of) will be interesting. We're 17/20 with bet365 with Walsall 3/1 so obviously expected to win. We couldn't beat Stevenage at home last season though remember, so I wouldn't be rushing to back us.
