van Stappershoef 7 at slight fault for the 3rd (beaten near post) but couple of solid saves.

Baldwin 5 best of the 3 but only because he was less exposed in the central position.
Ehmer 4 As soon as the ball was played in the channel looked lost. Worrying as that space will always be available playing 3 CBs. Should have been wiser/stronger for the 2nd goal IMHO.
Kilgour 4 Also struggled with the channel ball and was shown to be less in control on the ball than his fellow CBs.

Little 5 Maybe harsh as he potentially deserves an extra point but I'm still unconvinced.
Grant 5 Can clearly take the ball in tight spaces but went missing as the game progressed.
Westbrooke 7 Our best player technically. Always looking for the ball which we've not had for a couple of seasons. I really think he'll be our playmaker when it clicks with those ahead of him.
Leahy 5 see Little comments.

Hargreaves 6 Unlucky to be taken off (but the other 2 are ahead of him). Showed a couple of good turns and never stops running which will always earn him a ratings bump.
Mitchell-Lawson 6 Should have taken the shot on! If he chooses to take more responsibility he'll score 10+ this year. Although he is only 20 so asking a lot of him.
Nicholson 6 Should have taken his golden chance. Positive runner with the ball is good to see but as with all the front line they struggled to break into the final 3rd enough.

Subs: Ayunga 6 Gave us the focal point we were missing and had a few decent touches. Looks like he has a powerful shot but needs polishing to be league quality.
Hare 6 Game was lost by the time he came on. Good for minutes under his belt but little else.

Crowd 10 It was lovely to chat about the game without the whiney lot usually stood around us!
Ref 5 Without having much to do he missed a few including that weird little kick at leahy on the floor by their captain in the first half.
Ipswich 7 Giving them tactical credit for playing the channels where there was space. Took their chances when they came. I wouldn't say their quality was streets ahead of ours but maybe they didn't need to step it up as the game played out.

Really difficult to do this in these circumstances:

van Stappershoef 8 m o m not at fault with any of the goals and made some significant saves and interceptions.

Baldwin 5 poor.
Ehmer 4 poorer as Captain.
Kilgour 5 poor as we know he can do better.

Little 4 have seen nothing in last year to see why he warrants a place.
Grant 5 some break up play but no support defence.
Westbrooke 7 looked useful and graceful in possession, defended too.
Leahy 5 needs to revert back to his normal hairstyle!

Hargreaves 5 anonymous, but not played to his full potential.
Mitchell-Lawson 5 don't know what he done?
Nicholson 7.5 my outfield m o m looked everywhere, unlucky not to score from his own creation.

Ref 9 m o m as can't remember a poor decision or non decision and let the game flow. Ultimately forgettable, which makes a good ref.
Ipswich 7 exposed our vulnerability with direct football.

BG....this is an unacceptable performance from so many established players.

Continue to play one or no recognised strikers in this uncompromising league will leave you with a 0. After 18 matches and only 2 wins do you really need anyone to point this out to you?
