Did anyone actually see anything in Tutonda on Tuesday to suggest he's any better than Leahy at present, for what is likely to be a tough away game? Upfront I'd start with Ayunga, as I assume Hanlon has had a tough week if he's travelled up from London yesterday, undertone a medical etc and now needs to travel to Sunderland today? (Actually looking forward to the game now!) For me Tutonda was better than Leahy and he cab beat a manI think this is a big thing for BG. He was constantly willing Leahy to do this last season but Leahy's not really that player.

I know what you're saying but I think you've got to remove that and say he's been sh** so far. He's looked too much of a liability to trust. I think BG will start 3 at the back though so he could start. Agree that's the only reason I would consider him though. Against anyone else I wouldn't start him. He will be familiar with the ground, pitch size etc and player's often have blinders against their former clubs. Think Ehlmer has to start in the middle of the three. They often have a nightmare too. Can swing either way. Probably less of an affect without the supporters there though.

Anssi
Hare Kilgour Ehmer Baldwin Tutonda
Grant
Westbrooke Hargreaves
JML Ayunga
Bit tighter at the back. He’s got to trust his first choice 3 central defenders. Grant protecting the Defense with hare and Tutonda as solid defenders first and looking to get forward when possible. Westbrooke looking to drive forward, same as Hargreaves who also has a tackle in him
JML zinging off the big man to cause at least some worries for them
The aim has to be stay in the game
Wonder if he’d be brave enough to consider Ogogo or if his time with us is now up? Shame for me as this is a classic Abs game!

You do realise you've dropped the only player who had a decent effort on target v Ipswich? Hopefully we're not returning to DC's era of mini projects where players are needlessly dropped each match so never get a run of a games.

I choose the team that I think has the best chance of getting something from the game. It’s a squad game and surely we will play different players/formations to suit the opponents? In Nicholson, Daly and the new signing potentially on the bench we have the options to change it. Only my opinion! UTG

What's everyone's teams for the Sunderland game this coming Saturday now we've signed Hanlan then? For me, I'd switch to 4-3-3. ..................Jaakkola................... ............Kilgour...Ehmer................ Hare............................Tutonda... .................Upson....................... ........Grant...........Westbrooke...... Mitchell-Lawson...........Nicholson.. ...................Hanlan.................... Excellent set up, however given Hanlan is a very recent aquisition I think Daly is more likely to start

We’ve got lots of options at the back with possibly only Ehmer certain of a start? For a tough fixture like Sunderland the more defensive minded Little over Hare maybe? However, I suspect BG will will go with something like this, Jaakkola Little, Baldwin, Ehmer, Harries, Leahy Grant & Westbrooke JML, Ayunga, Nicholson.

Yeah I agree with your selection being the most likely, I think Garner will definitely want to stick with the 5-2-3 (3-4-3) and some of the players selected last weekend for a while longer. To be honest though starting with Leahy, Little and Baldwin in defence against Sunderland fills me with no confidence whatsoever.
