Hi guys,
I know a lot of people are seeing a black screen on ifollow. If you haven’t already, try using Google Chrome rather than internet explorer.

I'm on Chrome but having the same problem.
My guess is iFollow isn't used to the load it's being out under today. Clearly they haven't tested it sufficiently.

Try using the EFL app on a mobile device if you can as that's working OK for me but just getting a black screen on chrome.

They've had all summer to make this work. Took 3 attempts just to pay. Still a black screen & stupid circle revolving in middle of screen. Half-wits.

Couldn't remember my password, the link they sent me to reset takes me to scunthorpe's site. Had to create a new email address. Nearly missed the goal.

Had this problem last time I tried to use Ifollow , missed the first half. That’s why I haven’t bothered since. This needs sorting pronto

So I got it working by resisting the urge to click on the little "play" button in the middle of the screen. Not sure if that's what the difference was.

Mines working fine. The problem is between the computer and the desk. 😃

I am sure they will take that on board, and get in touch for some advice on stress testing an application with hundreds of thousands of connections from hundreds of different ISPs, on a a thousand combinations of different clients configs all using a multitude of dodgy home wifi networks. Easy to do ...... not. In all honesty the fact that the technology to do this exists and most of the time they pull it off is pretty impressive.

If you remember, there were teething problems during the first season of iFollow. That was for a smaller number of overseas viewers (and those who cheated the system!)
Now, you have a huge amount of people wanting to watch, but it'll get easier.
I guess this is why a new app was brought out? On the plus side, I've noticed that its now much easier to re-watch a game without finding out the score. It was almost impossible to do this on the old app. This will be good for me during the week night games when I don't want to stay up late or for those who have to be up in the middle of the night to watch!

Some of us were born before the advent of Black and White TV and if you are anything like me, you are finding it difficult to keep up with the pace of technology. I am a definite Technological Dinosaur - it is fine when it all works......... but I'm completely b*****ed when it goes wrong. Luckily I got it working at the third attempt yesterday but the Laptop was in danger of flying through the window for a while there. I actually found out what an HDMI cable was too!!!

I'm off to buy a usb to hdmi cable tomorrow, for a laptop that chunks and clunks when you switch it on, and then I can quite happily grab a coffee, shower and it's just about fired up.

I’ve never used ifollow before this season. Someone on here said that there may be problems using safari as a browser to get it. Safari is my browser. Now I’m about as much a technophobe as you can get so I was a bit apprehensive over spending £10 on something that wouldn’t work smoothly, knowing I didn’t have the expertise to sort it out if it went wrong. Last week against Ipswich it worked perfectly as it did yesterday. I’m using an iPad and just go into the Rovers website and enter email and password. I had to fiddle about to get the commentary which was ok but I must be lucky. UTG!

UTG! if your using an iPad then the issues with users being unable to watch the game on chrome on a laptop etc are not really relevant as I had no issues watching it on my phone but chrome refused to load. Although why don't you use the EFL iFollow app rather than Safari?

Don't think there was any issues using thr app (why's it now just called the EFL app not Bristol Rovers app?) the issue was trying to watch it on a decent sized screen via laptop browser. Typical straight after the match there was no issues watching any of the pre-match videos using the same laptop browser.
